That's a double edge sword. A simpler offense is too easy to diagnose and defend. The defense has a tremendous edge on the rookie and the team as a whole. That's how you end 5-12 for the season. I'm all for getting him out there but you have to give him a chance at least. There's a huge difference between college competition and nfl competition. Let's hope he catches on quickly.

That's they only way you should start a rookie. You are doing him a disservice by throwing him out there when he's not ready to execute the full playbook comfortably. He has to have enough film study with a vet qb and a coach that can teach him how to read nfl defenses. Does he have that here? I surely hope so.

Early reports are he's having trouble pre snap but is doing well after. Got to get that up to speed first. That's a crucial part of the job. He has to get everyone set and have time to read the defense before the clock runs out. I seriously doubt he can read an nfl defense well enough at this stage. Fingers crossed . I would love to have him start though. He still has a lot to learn despite my hopes that he can be the guy.

It was with that particular group of friends. I hung out with some rough characters in my 20's so it was the norm at that time in Greensboro. Most married guys had a side piece as they would call them. Nearly all were strippers. I seemed to be the only single guy of the bunch so naturally I was asked to do it. It was a tough job but someone had to do it.

I got dragged into babysitting the stripper because my friend couldn't be seen at her apartment. It was great until she started disliking my girlfriend. I made the mistake of putting them in the same car one night when the stripper had too much to drink. You can imagine what happened next. I gave up stripper sitting shortly after that infamous night. I still get reminded of it on occasion when I run into my ex.

He gets way too much hatred on this board. He doesn't deserve to be treated they way he is because of the situation he's been put in. It's not his fault the team put him in this situation and gave up what they did to get him. There's no need to demonize a guy doing the best he can in a position he should never have been put in in the first place.

There's a lot of truth in that. Given Teppers ramblings of late it doesn't appear Rhule is any danger anytime soon. I do believe he has to show significant improvement in the competitiveness of his team. How many wins the equates to is anyone's guess.
