  1. Even if he can back it up it paints a target on his back for "a little extra" punishment whenever a defender gets a chance to lay him out. In the heat of battle is different but before the game its better to keep your mouth shut until the bullets are flying.
  2. Intent doesn't matter. He's been around long enough to know how his words are used against him. He's gotta be more self aware with these comments.
  3. He should have known better to say anything like that around a reporter. Now he better back it up or he's going to look mighty foolish. All bark and no bite.
  4. Talk about stepping on your own junk. The 49ers have stomped on theirs.
  5. He should keep that to himself until after the game. He better hope he has a good game and the Panthers win it.
  6. Which will be 2 or 3 times a game if he's lucky.
  7. This trade is a basically swapping a 7th for a 5th and letting the Titans have a guy we were going to cut. Good trade there Fitterer.
  8. I'm talking about the wr we traded for. That's an odd trade if you are using him solely as a wr. If he's the slot guy then where does Shi fit in? If he's a rb/wr or poor man's CMC then there goes Hubbard. Say he's a replacement for Hubbard and that might make sense.
  9. It's not so much the compensation as it is the position.
  10. Hubbard was always a gamble because he had questionable hands. I'm afraid that didn't improve for him.
  11. Now this is interesting. I can dig this kind of horse trading. The wr trade I'm still struggling with.
  12. I'm not advocate for the guy. He's definitely been a non factor for us so I couldn't care less if they cut his ass. The only reason he's here is because of Joe Brady anyway.
  13. Fitterer to Jags: In that case we will determine what that pick will be after we see him play a few games. No more than a 6th in 2030 though. Jags to Fitterer: Deal.
  14. Not blaming anyone. Just explaining the typical role between coach and GM. I never said it was a correct decision on eithers part. As with any coach/GM role they both share the accolades and them criticism in this business.
  15. Shenault will come out of next year's draft. That's the draft I'm referring to.
  16. This is the only time I've watched him play and was thoroughly impressed. I think they said he was 29 so that's probably why he's been overlooked. I know nothing about the guy but I like his game.
  17. Didn't Baker cost a pick as well or am I confused again?
  18. Put his ass on the practice squad. We could use some of his tenacity around the joint. The man can play football in a pinch.
  19. Last count we got 2 qb's and a wr/rb out if it so far.
  20. He's not been available more than anything. TMJ can catch when he's out there. The problem is he's always hurt.
  21. So we get our 2023 ?th round pick early? Now we know what one of our 2023 draft picks went for, a wr.
