Well that partially solves the who are the top 5 WRs question. He's not one of them.

So if it is spread out, like for instance say player A gets a 6 million signing bonus and it got spread over say 3 years as 2 mil a year then the 6 mil cap hit will be accelerated to this season. In some cases the team could spread the hit over 2 years in cases where the hit is large. That's all I get out of it.
