    Looks to me like they will have to do more of the etc to be active in FA unless it's mostly bottom of the roster churn.

    He will sign with someone if he's asking for less than Daniel Jones received. I'm still trying to figure out how the Panthers make it work and fill out the rest of their shopping list. I seriously doubt Jimmy G would want to play for the Panthers unless they overpay him.

    They will indeed have to sign a vet to keep the seat warm for whatever rookie they will be grooming. They will not just throw the kid out there game one. None of the prospects are ready for that.

    You are really going to be disappointed when the Panthers sign Jimmy G to start, Sam Darnold to backup and draft Will Levis to develop.

    The Panthers are not going to know what other teams boards look like. They will not chance missing out on who they want just to let the Bears profit from using them. The Panthers have contingencies in place for scenarios just like this.

    I do not believe Fitterer would be down for being played like that. They either trade the 1st pick to us or the Panthers try to make a deal with someone else, if they haven't already.

    Not saying any of them aren't credible. I'm just saying in the particular instance there's nothing insightful about that statement. As I've said EVERYONE is speculating and throwing out every possible scenario in which one will actually happen. No sh*t!
