  1. As long as Tepper is the one making the key decisions expect things to stay as they are, a clusterf**k. He makes the wrong choice every single time. He has to empower someone to make those decisions for him and the team. Dan needs to answer to a President of football and not David. Canales should only report to Dan and only talk to Tepper if the cross paths in the hallway. These Monday morning meetings MUST stop. In other words, call KEVEN COLBERT an suck him off if he has to to get him involved.
  2. Sound's like a sales pitch for an old car. Guy 1. What are you going to do with that old car out back?" Guy 2. I'm going to hang onto it. I going fix it up over the winter for the old lady. Guy 1. You should sell it to me. Guy 2. Nah, it has sentimental value to me. I would have to have more because when fixed up these cars are in high demand right now. When it's working right it is a head turner. I'm going to fix this and that and it will be running like a champ Guy 1's think about the possibility of what he can do to the car and says, name your price.
  3. It appears as if they didn't think there was any way he could fail after what they did for him in the offseason. They chose poorly.
  4. I'd hold out for a 3rd and a Chick-fil-A sandwich were it me.
  5. The majority here said the didn't care who they took as long as it was the right guy. So shut up about who wanted who because it's irrelevant now.
  6. He value is not dependent on what Andy does this season.
  7. Please tell me this is made up.
  8. It's just so crazy it might work!
  9. If they have to go to Plummer at any point they will have to run the ball 90% of the time from then on to avoid him getting taken out. If he does get hurt it will be the Wildcat 100% of the time.
  10. I was talking about Canales conversation with Bryce and then Tepper. That had to be 2 uncomfortable conversations.
  11. Or 3) you let him be the emergency qb while you let the league think you are going to keep him until you get him back to himself. All the while you get your newly drafted qb ready to go and let the league decide if they want him before we ruin him completely.
  12. That takes years to master and a system that is conducive to it. A rookie will struggle with good defenses no matter how good they are coming out.
  13. You have to be prepared for it.
  14. Of course he speaks with the owner. That's his boss and answers to him. But the President's decision is how it's going to go. Dave has to listen and judge his performance by the results and not what he wants at that moment.
  15. As long as it's just 1 pick and not future picks it doesn't matter which qb they draft. It doesn't hurt to miss on that player. That's just normal business as usual since only roughly 35% hit anyway. I'll take that all day long. Obviously I would prefer that player work out as at minimum a great backup.
  16. I cannot imagine what the conversations were like with Bryce and Tepper.
  17. He doesn't have what it going to take to pull this team out of last place if that's how he intends to play. From here on his fate here is dependent on what Dalton is able to do.
  18. No that's a knee-jerk reaction based on emotions. If he's not a cancer he's just been demoted to backup. Sucks for him but it's justified. He will compete with whoever is brought in next year and stay the backup until someone blows us away with a good offer. As long as he's cool, we are cool. That's the only smart option and best option for now. Fans may want him off the team but that not happening unless we get an offer we can't refuse. If they dump him now it's just more of the same disfunction which is probably what they will do.
  19. Only he can control that now. He's got to compete for a starting role here or wherever he ends up.
  20. Nothing surprises me at this point. Whatever they do I expect it to end in disaster. If they draft another qb I expect it to be the wrong guy. It's how we roll.
  21. It goes back to the disfunction inside the building. Everything they did was a disaster in some way or another. The questions are endless and the answers all circle right back to the decision makers. Whatever decision that had a major impact to the future of the team was wrong and ended in disaster.
