    Pretty much. How they didn't know what Burns was looking for in money when the trade offer was turned down is beyond me. If they knew they weren't paying him what he wanted then there's not a single reason to turn it down. Nobody turns that down for a player not named Patrick Mahomes.

    Hold on there Skippy, let's not get too crazy just because he's attempting to do what has needed to be done for at least a half decade now. He still has to get it right with the players he's signed or not signed. Then there's the draft that he has to hit on much better than in the past. We are just getting started in day 2 of at least a 2 year project.

    Yeah there's that. Morgan better have what not to do from his buddy Fitterer. If he didn't his time as the guy will be a short one. Unfortunately for us if he is a Fitterer clone in team building we will be right back here in 2 years.

    That's a different problem all together. We would still have 1 of those picks left this year because he was getting fired over the combined disaster he had already created. The Burns deal was only 1 of the reasons he's gone.
