  1. We could do so much worse. If he's the guy get Deone in round 2 and the front 7 is improved. Notice I didn't say fixed.
  2. See I'm just the opposite in that I think the first 3 picks should be defense because that's where the most talented players are. But go bpa the rest of the way because you can find offensive talent in round 4 thru 6. Take a kicker in the 7th if we still have it.
  3. I think so. But in all honesty this entire class is being overrated. Don't get me wrong I'm not knocking his abilities as a player. We could surely use him on this team for sure. But I'm just not feeling it with Walker.
  4. If it were me I would probably pick Graham if he's there and Pearce Jr. if he's not. I would either go Graham in the 1st and try like he'll to get Jihaad Campbell in the 2nd. Or take Pearce Jr. in the 1st and Deone Walker in the 2nd. That's my dream scenarios right now.
  5. Jihad Campbell would be a nice consultation prize in the 2nd if they go in a different direction at 8. But we would probably have to trade up in the 2nd to get him.
  6. I think he is myself. Just depends on how motivated he is to be the best. Right most these nfl guys mock him in the late 1st. It's hard for me to believe that considering the competition in this class.
  7. I agree with you. There is a lot of depth in this class. I would love to have 4 picks in the top 100.
  8. If those 2 are my only choice I would have to lean Pierce as the team stands now. But honestly either would help our defense tremendously.
  9. This class is weak on immediate impact players but full of players that need time to develop. It think if you are picking outside the top 10 you better not need an immediate starter at that position.
  10. He's gone under the radar for sure. He could have gone late 1st and ended up on a playoff team but now he's worked his way into top 10 consideration at least.
  11. He is a ILB/OLB depending on what defense he's in. I suspect he will play both here as Evero likes to switch it up during games.
  12. He's fast and fluid in drills as well. He has good bend and his get off is as fast as anyone I've ever seen. He has the frame to add weight also. He's an interesting prospect for sure.
  13. It would for a year or two. He would just be a stop gap until they can go young. That's pretty much what the plan is for every position that doesn't have a drafted player or a younger long term solution.
  14. I think the right coach could turn him into a game wrecker.
  15. I agree with him. It's a huge need and I'm sure they can count on fixing it in FA with the piggy bank running low.
  16. I personally never look at what the RAS score or any analytics data says. I am old school when it comes to football. I just know an nfl player when I see one. I take everything like scheme and competition among other things in my overall evaluation. So no, I do not base who we should pick on combine performance. It's just a small part of the puzzle.
  17. You also you have to know what matters in these drills. You have to use them to confirm what you see in the tape, both good and bad.
  18. It's about to come down to Graham or Pierce for me. I cannot bring myself to endorse picking a TE at 8. My conscious won't allow it.
  19. I would rather have Pierce anyway. It's Graham, Pierce or Walker on defense. I cannot fathom an offensive being the pick.
  20. Walker better step it up or I may have to rethink pick 8.
  21. Just telling the truth. Doesn't mean he's the pick
