It sounds like the defense is catching up to the offense in preparation and execution on the field. Iron sharpens iron as they say. I can't wait to see what happens when the pads go on and the tempers flare.

Verizon is offering NFL Sunday Ticket for free
Jon Snow replied to PanthersATL's topic in Carolina Panthers
Those new TV contracts that raise the cap is what the hell. -
If the new owner is smart he would clean house in Washington. Ron is a dead man walking and Hurney should have been sent packing as soon as the ink was dry on the sale.

This is a great read. Thanks for sharing @Mr. Scot.

Anybody else think we are putting to much on Bryce's plate?
Jon Snow replied to DennisM1's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nope. -
It's a new policy I made up.

He will be extended before his 4th season. I have spoken.

No you don't. It's gone to hell over the past decade or so.

I've had him on ignore for just as long. The problem is everyone wants to argue with him and quotes his lame ass.

I wish folks would just block that guy. He ruins every thread.

From Heisman to #1 Draft Pick | The Bryce Young Story
Jon Snow replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, kids are great but there should be an age limit on making them. But to the topic of this thread, this is the first time in years I've had any hope for this team. Like you I am eager to see how the little guy performs for us. He's got it between the ears and had done it at every level he's played so he has it in him. It's weird to me that years ago that I was hoping the Panthers would somehow draft Young. But I knew we couldn't be that lucky. Now that they ended up drafting Young I am somehow still in shock by it. I'm never this lucky. I guess I am holding my breath until he plays a few games. The staff is light-years ahead of the last group and that gives me as much or more hope than the players we have. If they can work as a cohesive group and get the players bought in we just might see the playoffs every year at minimum. I want to own the nfcs.- 18 replies

Everyone is always on the Cowboys bandwagon. What they always ignore is the wagon has no wheels and nothing to pull it with.

Panthers Blueprint Episode 3: Embracing The Future
Jon Snow replied to Mr Mojo Risin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm sure that a lot of conversations had to be edited out because of the language used. Kids watch these things as well. You will not get they HBO version on YouTube. There's also certain details the would not want other teams to know that most likely came up during taping. You get what they can air without giving up too much and isn't filled with inappropriate language. -
Are you buying into the media's narrative that we are third tier
Jon Snow replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
All true. There's no apparent reason they would not have better results. But until they actually play the games that hasn't been proven fact. Every team improved, on paper. Well the Bucs may be the exception to that. Even Green Bay improved just by the mere fact they got rid of Rodgers. I do know one thing however. This team will look like a real nfl team this season regardless of their final record. -
Offensive support cast ranked 31st in the league
Jon Snow replied to panthers55's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's fair if you are the club that picked him that high thinking you were getting whatever you expected he would be. It's all at matter of perspective I guess. -

Only time will tell. Last years team finished as a 3rd teir team so this team shoulders that burden until they prove otherwise. Paper tigers do not win anything.- 47 replies

Offensive support cast ranked 31st in the league
Jon Snow replied to panthers55's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's hard to call a player that is still playing in the league a "bust". Living up to the hype that is placed on them by draft position is only a fan thing. It's only fan expectations that places boom or bust labels. Teams on the other hand look at the production they can/could provide the team and the contract value. -
The only problem I see is that dome teams cannot have grass fields. Do you force them to build new stadiums? Good luck with that.

Offensive support cast ranked 31st in the league
Jon Snow replied to panthers55's topic in Carolina Panthers
Being overdrafted places unfair expectations on players. A player does not get to choose what round they are selected in. Carry on. -
