I think someone around here still has contact with him. It was posted sometime back he's out there on social media somewhere doing his thing. He's left us behind for bigger and better things. I don't do social media so I can't keep up with his latest adventures. I miss his crazy ass around here.

how important is it that we win preseason games?
Jon Snow replied to rayzor's topic in Carolina Panthers
It probably has something to do with the fact that the teams couldn't produce a lineup that could win at least 1 game. If you think about, the starters should be able to put points on the board at least to tie or take a lead before the backups take over. The primary backups needs to be competent enough to add to or at least hold a lead. If none of those two units can pull out at least 1 out of 4, now 3, well you probably don't have enough talent or competent coaching to win very many games. -
What are 5 points you looking for tomorrow?

I second this. -

The only thing that matters to me is not if we win or lose but how we won or lost. The preseason record means nothing. These games are meant to evaluate players new to the team in a game situation. It's a chance for the coaches to iron out the kinks before the real battle begins. Sure, they want to win but in reality it's more about seeing who stays and who goes. -
SCP would be proud of you.

This is the most likely trajectory for him unless he establishes a special teams spot at minimum.
-
It's pretty simple really. It's from fans of qbs the Panthers didn't draft.

That's an odd thing to do to your spanking new qb. I could see putting 1 second stringer on the line to test him with the starters. But to put the entire 2nd string out there for your supposed starting qb seems a bit risky and counterproductive to said qbs development.
-
They will pick a defensive player and continue to suck. Poor CJ is on his own trying to develop as a pro qb and be their entire offense. Kinda like Cam had to do but he's less talented as Cam was.

This game is a "let's see who can screw up the most" game. Just some ugly football. I hope like hell we at least play better than these 2 teams.

Frank said that all starters would contribute in some fashion in this game. That's is if they are healthy of course. You would have to ask Frank about the logic behind that. He said that as a completely new team they all need some more reps in the new system to get ready for the season. That includes the coaching staff.

Camp Confidential: New-Look Panthers Compete at Training Camp

It's probably just you. -
Neither will save the Bucs and major potential is a stretch. Let's see how they fair by the end of the season, then we can discuss their potential.
-
If you're scared go to church. There's no Brady to save their asses now. None of the qb's coming out next year is going to change that.

I saw that headline on nfl network this morning. He's not playing Saturday.

I love it!

Tis true. Old Ron has his own mess to worry about now though. I'm sure the Panthers didn't sneak away in the middle of the night and not tell anyone the were "bitching out" as has been implied. I'm sure that Frank and Robert discussed it this morning, possibly last night, what contingency plans they would make if the weather went tits up. Folks act like the team just tucked tail and ran because they canceled a planned underwear run through in the rain. It's a nothing burger. It's not like we don't have to move shjt back to Charlotte or film to study or anything that trivial.

And people wonder why Bieniemy hasn't gotten a head coaching offer.

It's Jets joint practice Day 1 (8.9.2023)
Jon Snow replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bad? That's a good play by the defender. If that's the worst he does then I wouldn't call that bad. That's great defense by the corner. -

I am surprised that we ever win a single game with that fool running things. -

We have veteran pro coaches this time around.
