Tepper in Germany drinking and singing with fans
ChuckWag78 replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would drink with him anyway. The hate here is out of control. -
And don't forget Mike Jackson. What a great addition late in the process.

Had not seen this posted. Worth a watch.

Yea, don't love the compensation. At that point just keep him for the rest of the year.

With the first pick, don't draft a QB? Draft a DE? C'mon!
ChuckWag78 replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
There are not any worthy DE/Edge plyers for the 1st overall pick. Hell, probably not the first 5 picks. -
Panthers in the Market for a QB (again): 2025 Draft
ChuckWag78 replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have not seen anything on this kid until your post. His highlights are fun to watch. Love the size and power. There definitely is something to be said about going somewhere like Indiana and winning. Not just the QB, but still fun to cheer for going forward. https://www.twitter.com/barstoolsports/status/1847725663140172212?t=a_hkyKD4kBakHdTOLbrDPQ&s=19 -
Panthers in the Market for a QB (again): 2025 Draft
ChuckWag78 replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bears have ours and we have the rams (brooks trade). I agree with the best DE, but they are saying this is a weak DE/Edge class and the 2025 FA market looking just as rough. -

Cam Ward scares the hell out of me. Was a turnover machine last year, and just does wild things at times. The splash plays are very intriguing, but I thinks that is going to fizzle out in the pros. I want NOTHING to do with Sanders. -
100%. There have been past Panthers teams that would have just taken the knee to get to halftime. I love how aggressive we have been.

Much deserved love (video) for Robert Hunt. My fav player
ChuckWag78 replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have been waiting for my next panthers jersey. Hunt may be it. -
Do we attempt to extend Diontae this season?
ChuckWag78 replied to Panthercougar68's topic in Carolina Panthers
My Hope is he grows attached to the area and the program. I want HIM to want to be here, bought I to our scheme. Would love to keep him based on what I have seen, but don't want to spend 35M+ per year to do it. -

Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 3 win
ChuckWag78 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I re-watched the game today, and the TEs stood out more positively to me than during the original broadcast. They both were solo blocking DLs at times and holding their own. -
I know there were not a lot of catches, but our TE group was blocking their asses off on Sunday. I'm half way through a rewatch and both Tremble and Sanders have shown very effective blocking. I'm not saying they're pancaking their guy every time, or just complete road graders, but they are consistently in good position to wall off defenders. A handful of times they even took on DEs one-on-one with success. I didn't even mean to specifically watch the TEs, but the they were popping out on the second viewing. Both run and pass block. Great showing from the TEs in my book. This is only going to open up stuff down the field even more.

I'm with you, next years FA look rough. I think we need to look at potential 2026 FA we could trade a later round pick for this year. I have always liked Davis Mills. Big, strong QB that looked serviceable on the bad HOU teams. he has some experience under his belt, I would love to see what Canales could do with him.
-
Yep. My hope for Bryce is finally done. I don't want him to play another down for this team. I think I was one of the last few still holding out hope, but that is absolutely crushed now.

It would mean a lot to me if the Panthers won this week

Sorry for your loss. This was a beautiful post. Fingers double crossed for you on Sunday.
