This place is so funny. Pre-trade deadline everyone was screaming for Fit to bring in help. Now that we found out he tried you guys say "what is he doing!? Whe does he still have any power!"

PIE for YOU, the team stinks but here you are, posting

Little self love. Like the sound of that! -
In the grand scheme of things Luvu will be cheap compared to those two. Keeping the faith this all gets worked out. Glad Sweat's deal isn't for more.

I swear I saw something about DJ getting hurt celebrating after last week. I guess it wasn't too serious.

Enough time has passed - Feedback on the new playcaller
ChuckWag78 replied to Varking's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Texans Def is pretty damn good. Excited to see how he does this week against another decent Def. -
Maybe, but I love how strong he was in those decisions. I know it was a short clip, but there's no hemming and hawwing. Quick decisive answers. That's what you want from the head coach so the OC can run the offense effectively.

PathersWire: Best and worst PFF grades week 8

CJ Henderson not on the bottom 5 for like 4 weeks in a row!! I'll say it again, I love rooting for this kid! -
Burns draft classmate (edge rusher) inks new deal
ChuckWag78 replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
As a percent of total cap, at 30 million per year we would be paying Burns less than what we paid Peppers when we franchise tagged him back in '09. Approximately 11% versus 14%. I remember thinking that 16 million deal was outrageous at the time. I mean a million dollars a game, who deserves that! Folks get hung up on the total dollar amount, but the cap has been going up steadily every year , outside of 2020. Whatever deal we make now is going to look cheap in three to four years. -
PFF grades vs Lions (Bryce in bottom 5 yet again)
ChuckWag78 replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Look who isn't on the bottom 5 def list two weeks in a row! Way to go CJ! It is fun rooting for this kid with all the injuries at the CB position. -
Barnwell: Panthers have the slowest WR routes in the NFL
ChuckWag78 replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
Go back and watch the Chark mic'ed up. I don't think he ran full speed anywhere. Our WR look to be jogging out there. -
I feel like there maybe a reason for this? I can't quite put my finger one it...

The owner hate is so lame around here. It's just tiring. He isn't going anywhere any time soon. At least he has shown he is willing to spend money, unlike some owners.

Cap doesn't matter. You guys talk about it like your budgeting for groceries, rent, and your utility bill. The cap keeps going up, we have tons of space this year and next. As long as the other compensation (picks and players) isn't too much, I would be all in on bringing JJ in.

They pulled back on outright release. Something is in the works in Denver. -
All 22 Review: Panthers vs Viking [Week 4 2023]

I love seeing CJ have some success. I don't know why, but I am rooting for this kid so much. -
Week 4 [Panthers vs Vikings] All-22 : Any Requests?
ChuckWag78 replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
After a quick rewatch, it looks like we were running a lot of one LB packages with just Luvu. I assume this is due to injuries with the linebacker corp. Is that what was hurting run defense? -
Pledge to continue being a fan the rest of the season....
ChuckWag78 replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am comforted in the fact that I know Chicago is going to blow these two picks somehow. -

CJ Henderson. Wasn't on the bottom 5 this week. Had to step up with all the injuries and don't remember hearing too much of his name. How did the tape look? Edit: add Troy Hill to this. -
The poor guard play is affecting the entire line. They're poor performance impacts the tackles and center as well. I think that's a big reason we've seen Ickey take a step back this year. If BC we're playing, I think our left side is a much stronger unit.

No CJ!!! Good job buddy!!
