  1. Bummer. I was hoping to bring PJ back. Rooting for the kid.
  2. This makes even less sense now. I assumed he was on the last year of his contract so he would be expecting a big payday from NY. $11M per year for Waller is cheap. Great movie for them, but I don't know what LV is doing.
  3. May not be popular opinion but wouldn't mind hanging on to PJ to run with Stroud/Young + Corral/Eason. Kid is scrappy and has had to fight his way into the league. That is a good mentor in my mind considering our staffs knowledge.
  4. This 100%. Even the first minor injury, and everyone here is going to be up in arms if we go with young. Tweaked ankle, sprain finger, anything and it's going to be mayhem.
  5. The more I see on this kid the more I like. His blocking looks great for a TE and can make tough/contested catches.
  6. Long shot, but does anyone have the old goodbye video back when Moose left to go to Chicago? It was set to the song Bye Bye Love. With Moore leaving it got me thinking about Muhammad.
  7. I'm I the only one that doesn't hate that trio of WR? Not saying we don't need to add but it is a decent core still.
  8. Loved ya DJ. Hope he shines in CHI. Anyone look into this year's wide receivers crop in depth? Who you guys like out there?
  9. "Likely to.." And this is considered reporting today, making your opinion look like fact. No source or backup. Meaningless tweet.
  10. Only because he got hurt. If he didn't get hurt he would be right in the first round QB talks.
  11. Next year is next year. Both of those guys could have career ending injuries, then what's the difference? Or maybe they just underperform, and aren't the sure thing they look like today. You can't avoid making decisions today because you're worried about what tomorrow may bring.
  12. I love our all whites and our white tops with black pants. A matte white helmet would be sick.
  13. I want Joey Porter Jr or Cam Smith so bad!! We would have a nightmare on the outside with Horn.
  14. Tragic, but not something that should end his career before it even starts. People need to remember these are kids. He was probably still riding high after winning the national championship and feeling invincible, like almost all of us at that age. Someone is going to get a hell of a player if he drops far, like Sapp back in the day or Tunsil more recently.
  15. Keep an eye out for Alex Singleton, the linebacker out of Denver. Over 100 tackles the last 3 years, with over 150 last year. Has a history with Ejrio and should be relatively cheap.
  16. Yes and no. From a cap perspective everyone plays with the same deck of cards. But cash over cap is in reference to the amount of cash you can actually pay to the players up front versus what the cap hit actually is. For example, let's say we signed someone to a 5-year 100 million guaranteed contract. In year one you're paying that player 100 million in actual cash, the cap hit can be spread out over the 5 years. So actual cash spend in a year versus cap hit in a year are very different. Having a rich owner we will be able to pay out more in those initial years which will attract more talent. It absolutely is an advantage versus cash poor teams.
  17. Great write up. We absolutely can take advantage of cash over cap because of Tepper's wealth. Huge advantage in the long run.
  18. Should be ready by training camp. Below is a good recent interview.
