I just saw the above reported. This is one thing we won't have to worry about as long as Tepper owns the team. We saw this first hand with Rhule.

Here we go.

That motion sweep pass to Shenault
ChuckWag78 replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
I guarantee you there's going to be a play in the next couple weeks that this sets up. Some kind of deep shot to the motion side when teams start biting up on the sweet pass. -
And a bit of a head case.

Wow. Someone has a short memory. Any one of the top 3 tackles could have been the first OT taken. QB was an option (a reach but an option). Ickey was scouted as a mauler in the run game with work needed in pass pro. Looks like the work has been done so far.

Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns
ChuckWag78 replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
Today yes. 2 and 3 years down the road, not as much. That is the point. You can't ack like time doesn't exist, that is not how investments work. -
Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns
ChuckWag78 replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
We didn't take it because it's not really 2 First round picks! It's disingenuous to say we're passing on two first round picks, when the equivalent to those pics is a second and third this year. -
Still and upgrade for the Bears

And irritate some packer fans.

Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns
ChuckWag78 replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
Please remember, the "two 1sts" the rams are supposedly offering in 24 & 25 are basically the equivalent to a second and third this year. -
Next question without Rhule Mcadoo is better..
ChuckWag78 replied to WOW!!'s topic in Carolina Panthers
Don't you know you're not allowed to have any positive comments here? Running game has looked great with D'onta. Ripping of 5+ yard runs on the regular. Converted a few 3 and very longs. Excited to keep watching. -
I don't get the anger around here. I'm sad with today's ending but this team fought for 60+ minutes today. Pick 6 was a tough break, but we battled back. Penalty and missed extra point were crappy, but the defense answered. I'm still excited for this team.

We pretty much have to take a RB on day 2 in the draft, right?
ChuckWag78 replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not necessarily. I wouldn't give up on Foreman just yet. His only issue in the past has been fumbles. If he can get that under control we would be in good shape with him + a later round pick. -
How could we not give Fitt another chance?!?
ChuckWag78 replied to DMathematics's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh no! We dont have our 6th and 7th pick! I'm a Fitt fan. Liked most of his moves so far via trades. I like we are "in every deal". I have liked his drafts. Not sure what else you can ask for. Is he the new whipping boy with rhule gone?- 238 replies

A NFL team should not plan to tank for the highest draft pick
ChuckWag78 replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nothing in the NFL is a sure bet. Tanking is for chumps. -
No note on Snow. Hope he hangs around for the rest of the year.

Wilkes to take over.

Didn't see this posted anywhere. This guy is fantastic. Walks through each play of offense from last week. Terrific insight.

Maybe not, but Houston has looked/been competetive and never quit. I think Pep would be a great HC.

Pep Hamilton or Leftwich.
