  1. Jfc getting rid of the few good players we have isn’t going to make the team better…Horn is a foundational player. He’s a top CB when he’s healthy and he’s proving he cans try healthy. No he can’t do it by himself, no one can. But as we add players to the defense, if we get rid of Horn it’ll be two steps back one step forward. Chuba is an affordable starting caliber RB. No sense getting rid of him before we know what we have in Cooper. And if we can retain him relatively affordably then we should because it’s good to have two good RBs. A fire sale isn’t going to help us. It’s just going to make the rebuild take even longer.
  2. 100% fee fees. This place is absolutely ridiculous with speculation and rhetoric. And then it gets repeated so often people start taking it as fact. It’s been happening since long before Tepper got here.
  3. It seems to me that people that say he played better or have anything positive to say just look at the stats and didn’t actually watch him play. The short opening drive was decent (even though the td pass was behind XL and should have been picked or knocked down but XL did a great job securing it). From that point on until garbage time against prevent defense he was atrocious. One maybe two decent plays the whole time. Half his positive stats came in garbage time. That’s not better. There’s nothing positive to draw from that.
  4. People are getting twisted about the term running up the score, but what he’s talking about is still running trick plays and trying to run up the score. Their offense wasn’t good enough to actually run up the score and Horn did what he could to prevent it, but the backup defense were having to start now and the jv QB giving them the ball back so quick gave the Broncos every opportunity to keep trying to run up the score. Payton is a mega douche and does things like this specifically to be a mega douche. I appreciate Horn’s leadership and standing up for his team.
  5. I’m excited about XL and Coker once we get a real QB. They’ve both shown more this year than we’ve seen out of a rookie WR in a while. Maybe DJ, but other than him it’s been a LONG time. KB looked decent his rookie year on paper but Cam was force feeding him to get those stats.
  6. He was fuging terrible. He might be the most inaccurate QB in history. I saw a couple good plays from him total before junk time prevent defense. He is a lost cause.
  7. Honestly, at this point with just a few games to show what he’s made of, he might be my favorite Panthers coach in history. At least he takes chances and doesn’t tuck his tail in between his legs with a minute to go before the half. The fake punt didn’t work, but I liked the call at that point in the game. He’s still learning, but I like his mindset. Haven’t ever been able to say that before.
  8. lol well Hekker trying to prove my last statement wrong, but he was still closer than Bryce often is…
  9. Most inaccurate QB I’ve ever seen. I think Hekker would be more accurate.
  10. That was a good play and throw by Bryce on 1st down, gotta admit
  11. 25 still doing shoulder bump tackles…
  12. Bad throw, good job by XL. CB shoulda knocked that down
  13. Canales getting tricky with the playcalling so far today
  14. I completely agree. Bryce causes the OL to look much worse than they actually are. He has no pocket presence, no understanding of defenses, and gets tackled by a stiff breeze.
  15. If they’re trying to trade Bryce they would definitely not try to show him off. The mystery is the only value left. The more tape you put out there, especially recent tape, the harder it will be to trick someone into thinking he can be an NFL player.
  16. Yea that’s what I assumed. He tried to brace himself for the impact and the thumb got bent the wrong way or something.
  17. Oh, so just unfounded speculation? I thought there was something I hadn’t heard about.
  18. Where is this coming from that Brown may never recover? Woods is trash, the keepers on defense are Horn and Mike Jackson. Some of the first and second year guys can’t be thrown out with the bath water either. And Jewell looked solid until he got injured. But we definitely need a couple pass rushers, a LB or two and two Safeties.
  19. I’m in like four different arguments on Facebook about that lol. These smooth brains don’t realize that Bryce robs every other offensive player of development and meaningful reps. Even if the offense is still doing poorly with Andy, at least they’re getting catchable balls thrown their way and defenses have to respect the possibility of a pass more than five yards so the run game has a little more room.
  20. Replay made it pretty apparent his knee was down before the ball came out. Dumb challenge by Quinn
