Agree with all points edit: also agree with another poster that said we shoulda traded Burns instead of Moore, which is part of eating poo on execution. Or even better traded Burns to the Rams and used one of those firsts in place of the player in traded up to #1

Frighteners is an underrated classic. Loved that movie.

My favorite comedy of all time. Somewhere else a discussion was started about most quotable movies of all time and stuff like Anchorman and Caddyshack and Airplane were tossed about and I just went on a spree of Lebowski quotes. That movie might not have the most well known quotes compared to some movies, but it has double the sheer volume of quotable lines of any movie ever

Hudson Hawk was great, I think it was Bruce’s first starring role after Moonlighting, or maybe first one after Die Hard. Real early in his career anyway

Cousins is the best player in that group mentioned. Bijan is the only other one that is even good. Pitts and Landon are still riding their college hype. They haven’t been good in the NFL. Not bad, but no teams are scared of them. I’ve seen lots of media hype about them, resulting in fans repeating that hype, but they’re just average. I could see Cousins making the offense a little better but I’d still be surprised if they win the NFCS, much less a playoff game.

Just thought it was funny we’ve recently had #1, 11, and 13 on our team. All three are better than our QB1.

You can’t see much in the preseason but one thing I think translates, looks like the defense is tackling well.

Well, one section was easily false. We didn’t lose our best player, we extended him. And the defense looks better on paper, not worse. The only player we lost and didn’t replace with at least an equivalent was Luvu.

I mean, if Brady isn’t a football Superman I don’t know many who are. Foles and Eli were anomalies. Foles benefitted by being a late plugin like Jeff Hostetler. Linus has an amazing team perfectly built to beat the Patriots. I’d argue it’s harder to build the perfect team than to find a Justice League QB

Look at the Super Bowl winners. Supermen win championships, and if you’re not trying to get one then you’re doing it wrong. Or at least a Batman. We currently have someone with Robin potential at best. And not one of the good ones. The dead one.
