  1. We should absolutely give Will Grier a chance this year. Let him start every game and see what he’s got. so that we secure the #1 spot and whichever QB we want to draft next year.
  2. Great idea on paper until we win a game or two in the last four weeks and bomb our draft spot
  3. Love was great. Best rotational DL we’ve had in a lot of years.
  4. I hear ya, but I don’t think there’s any chance whatsoever that Ron & co. would have adapted to having a lesser QB. None.
  5. I mean, we saw what it would look like. 2019 when we had Luke and no Cam
  6. Or if you had to take one of them off the team, Cam or Luke, taking Luke off the team would have had faaaaaaaar less impact than taking off Cam.
  7. Replace Kuechly with an elite LT for Cam’s career and I’d argue we’d have been more successful. I love Kuechly....buuuut...
  8. Jon* and I think you mean some people (myself included, I can admit when I’m wrong) didn’t like spending a top ten pick on a depreciated position that was already filled. Nobody freaked out, and Kuechlys don’t appear every few years. And even if he does end up at Kuechly’s level, MLB ain’t gonna help us with no QB
  9. I agree with you, but I think you meant Cardinals
  10. can he play QB or be available in the 2nd round?
  11. I’m liking what he’s done at LB and filling in the back end of OL depth. I expect to get a CB and go hard at OL with picks in rounds 2-7
  12. If the top four QBs slip through our fingers and we didn’t trade up for one, it’s a fail anyway. Stay put, take a LT, prepare for a long fuging season as we try to do better at positioning ourselves for a QB in the draft next year.
  13. Watson would be a trade, wouldn’t count in comp pick formula
  14. Was really hoping we’d get him back. Way better than he was allowed to show for most of his time here. Sucks he’ll have to deal with wft’s qb situation and Rivera again. But that’s what happens when you chase the money.
  15. Lol Denver doesn’t have more talent than anybody. Dunno where that idea came from. Maybe more than the Jets or Patriots. That’s about it.
  16. Meh. All these “reports” are to be taken with a grain of salt. Some weeks we’re his preferred destination, others it’s SF. Next week it’ll be back to NYJ, then some team out of left field will be mentioned just to drum up clicks like the Giants or something.
  17. Awesome stuff. I’d take those stars away from all the 1st rd LBs cuz no ***** way we should spend a 1st on a LB but I dig the rankings and stuff overall. Great work.
  18. My hesitation has been that he’s never seemed to make post snap reads, going through progressions. I’ve seen every snap he’s taken on YouTube and I saw him throw to someone other than the first read like twice. The target always seemed predetermined. That’s just how a lotta colleges work. And that could mean absolutely nothing like with plenty of good NFL QBs, but it could also mean something. At the pro day jeremiah or whoever that was mentioned his quick eyes, and if that’s the case then there’s another question about his game partially answered. Or Jeremiah could have just been fluffing him up to have something to say. I swear the two most secure jobs in the world with no oversight or repercussions for being wrong are nfl “draft analyst” and nfl referee lol. I would be more than happy to get him at this point.
  19. With you until the end. No more Bridgewater. Hell no. Absolutely not. Also, I think we will trade up if the first three go quick. It all depends on where that third QB is drafted.
  20. They did mention that pre snap protection reads were his responsibility and that’s uncommon in college. That was a large part of what improved my opinion of him yesterday. That and watching the passes leap off his fingertips almost as well as Cam
  21. He’s not signing a vet min contract, and depending on how he felt about getting traded in the first place might not sign with us at all. But if we could get him at a decent rate, maybe 7mil or less a year, sure. He might not have been a legit pro bowler the last year with us but he was still good. Hell, bring back him and Norwell at mid range contracts if possible. 2nd rd LT-Norwell-paradis-Turner-Moton sounds good to me
  22. Watched the video, improved my outlook for him a little. Can’t affect it too much, just being a pro day, but I definitely liked what I saw. It’s still Wilson #2 for me, behind Lawrence, but Lance is 2b. I’d be good with him at 8 or with a trade up that costs no more than next year’s 1st (keeping this year’s 2nd and other picks)
