My bold prediction: 11-6 record. I am very impressed with how the weaknesses of the team were addressed and the upgrade at QB is worth a few wins alone. I’m predicting 5 fewer losses.

Thing is, the huddle isn’t a hive mind. The dumbasses whining before and during the draft might have just been the loudest, but most of the established contributors and level headed folks were either on board or in a wait and see situation. Me? I’m just happy that Rivera, Hurney and Bridgewater are gone. Everything else is bonus

Now that the draft is over: A++ I wanted someone different with the first pick, but I like the Horn pick now anyway. Was disappointed at first, but with the way the rest of the draft fell, we got studs and improved every weakness we had significantly. Darnold will succeed with this offense, I’m convinced. If I’m wrong, we can try again for a QB in the future with a much better team around him (with experience) than Fields would have gotten this year.

Start out discussing Shi Smith and then transitions to discussing the Panthers offense after the draft and Darnold. Really good stuff.

Then made it even worse by saying “especially if you only look at the first three quarters” wtf kind of stupid logic is that?! Teddy was that bad. Stats lie and he was even worse than his stats. Completion % is the biggest red herring stat in sports.

If we draft anything other than a QB, OT or pass catcher at #8. If we trade down and draft anything other than those or CB. In the second and beyond no particular position would upset me other than K higher than 5th round.
