  1. He’s not signing a vet min contract, and depending on how he felt about getting traded in the first place might not sign with us at all. But if we could get him at a decent rate, maybe 7mil or less a year, sure. He might not have been a legit pro bowler the last year with us but he was still good. Hell, bring back him and Norwell at mid range contracts if possible. 2nd rd LT-Norwell-paradis-Turner-Moton sounds good to me
  2. Watched the video, improved my outlook for him a little. Can’t affect it too much, just being a pro day, but I definitely liked what I saw. It’s still Wilson #2 for me, behind Lawrence, but Lance is 2b. I’d be good with him at 8 or with a trade up that costs no more than next year’s 1st (keeping this year’s 2nd and other picks)
  3. Fine with CMC’s restructure. Shaq’s sucks since he should be cut anyway. We can find any JAG to do what he does at a fraction of the cost. But at least cutting him next year isn’t too expensive.
  4. I’d still give it to 01, but 17 is a close second. Doesn’t change that Gettleman had to go. He missed on so many other picks, especially 1st rd picks it really hurt us.
  5. The videos are pretty good. The guy has a bit of a victim mentality sometimes “you guys say this, you guys say that, I don’t get it, blah blah blah”. But other than that, pretty good. Says Jones is the most pro ready, but in regards to his ceiling it depends on if he gets a Tom Brady like chip on his shoulder. And sure, if that happens maybe he’ll be great. But I’m not interested in Jones at 8 at all. I also watched his Fields video. Pointed out a lot of the stuff I also saw, no reads at OSU (called OSU offense system trash lol), inaccurate at times, but a lot of good stuff as well. Before watching Jones and Lawrence he says his order is Lawrence, Wilson, Fields which is my order too.
  6. It appeals to me and I’m almost 40. I have money to spend. Our silver helmets are and have always been stupid. We need to shift more to a two tone look rather than the three tone we’ve always had. Black and blue is so much better than black, blue and silver. Wish they’d completely do away with the silver.
  7. That’s what I came to say. Brees is quite mobile, he’s just not a runner or scrambler.
  8. I wouldn’t be mad if we got Fields. I still prefer Wilson, but considering he’s probably going to the Jets or Texans at #2, I’d be happy with Fields after a trade up to 3 or 5. Give up next year’s first to do it. Maybe next year’s second if necessary too.
  9. No it wouldn’t. It wasn’t a few more plays, it wouldn’t have required a whole new season and him playing like he’s never played in his career. Teddy isn’t going to be our QB next year and he simply isn’t and never will be a good QB
  10. I’ve been here since around 07. Still quite a few oldheads around from before me, they just tend to get drowned out by the loud trolls and younger generation heh
  11. I’m not sure which I prefer, Fields or Lance. Lance is more boom or bust. And I’m also not sure whether I’d prefer one of those two or trade a mid round pick for Darnold or something along those lines, draft well this year and prepare to be aggressive in the draft for a QB next year. I would be happy with pretty much any scenario that doesn’t include Bridgewater taking another snap for us. Except maybe Alex Smith. Not sure I’d be satisfied if we signed him.
  12. Boot his ass out. I mean, I’d love to see the WTFs (intentional) stay mired in mediocrity forever, especially while Rivera is there. But he is no bueno. Gotstago
  13. Nothing major here, just posting for his write-up
  14. Not that I think he’s done and I’d love to see him get back to form with a more normal off season and some actual NFL talent around him, but if Cam were thinking maybe it’s time to give his body a rest and sit at home counting his millions, it would be epic if he joined them on March 11. Three of the main architects of what success we had for a decade
  15. I didn’t see a mock draft but that would have me furious
  16. Honestly I wouldn’t mind sending them a 3rd or 4th, use this year’s first on a stud LT (or maaaaybe Pitts) or trade down to build ammo to move up next year if Darnold is irredeemable.
  17. I also like the more casual tone of the write ups, with some humor injected (eg. Lawrence’s pro comparison)
  18. Don’t know if this has been posted. Only thing that really sets this apart is a more in depth write up than I’m used to seeing and I like how Chinn is already being used as a comparison for highly rated prospects https://nfldraft.theringer.com/?_ga=2.189757611.189411139.1614797204-703757875.1614797203
  19. Looks like he has a pretty good track record when going against the grain. I dunno anything about this Mond guy, and I’d still take Lawrence over Wilson but him being so high on Wilson does somewhat validate what a lot of us are seeing in Wilson
  20. Who wouldn’t want this dashing fellow as their QB?
  21. Giving Teddy another shot would be the absolute worst choice. The lesser of the multitude of evils here is Mariotta imo. Doesn’t cost draft capital, can still draft a QB at 8, or if that’s not in the cards in these scenarios, we can get a really good player or trade down and still able to go for a guy next year.
