  1. Looked like an attempt to draw us offsides and now there will be a FG
  2. Lol how’s that for the people that like to whine about Jackson’s tackling. Not always perfect but he wraps up. Great open field tackle on a great RB
  3. It’s not like the Saints are missing good players other than Lattimore, so the short handed argument doesn’t hold water. Their best asset by far is the HC
  4. Are any of those QBs that you listed Cam? No? Then wtf is your point?
  5. Of course he likes us now. Our QB is…..not Cam…
  6. I do wish we had kept Butker, of course. Said it at the time.
  7. Gano was bad. He’s done better than what we’ve replaced him with but I’m still glad we cut him. He can be consistent on routine kicks but more times than not he choked when it mattered. I’d rather be looking for a better kicker than settling on an ok kicker. Better in the long term. I’m thinking we’re just going to have to draft one next year.
  8. Solid points and reason from Saints fans?! We must be in the Twilight Zone.
  9. Gamepass + VPN = critical for those of us that don’t live in the broadcast area…
  10. If you can’t see the difference in the passes between Sam and Teddy I just don’t know what to tell you. The placement and zip are just a whole nother league above Teddy’s wobbly ducks coming in behind guys running in stride. I’m talking the throws, not the stat sheet. If Rhule and Brady have Sam playing the same game as Teddy, at least Sam’s passes are in step and sharp.
  11. Setting aside the “deep throws”, the medium and short throws had more zip and urgency than Teddy’s. Teddy’s inability to throw deep wasn’t the only problem, it was his timid decision making and floaters at all levels, as well as throws that were technically catchable but often behind, low or otherwise not accurate. Darnold had none of those problems outside two or three bad passes. QB has been significantly upgraded this season, based on this game and the preseason game.
  12. Sure, that’s fair. But most of what I’m seeing is people whining as if we’d gotten blown out, not simply “pointing out issues”. I pointed out issues. But a win is a win, and looking sloppy is common in the first game. Overall most performances today were quite good.
  13. No he’s not. He’s not the best in the league but at least he isn’t Shula.
  14. Wtf is up with all this sour ass talk? We won, we dominated on defense outside of two drives. Offense shows great potential with a little more live time together they’ll get in rhythm. Far from perfect, but it was the first game. CMC had almost 200 total yards, Darnold had almost 300 yards passing, no TOs and two scores. Jfc be happy. Coaching was fine, people whining about things that didn’t work out well doesn’t change the fact they were the right decision at the time. Nothing was perfect but a win is a win.
  15. I think he forgot that Bridgewater was named the starter for the Broncos
  16. He looked really good. That last play was an incredible play by Chinn. With our secondary and dline, I think our defense is going to be the nastiest it’s possibly ever been.
  17. Ron Rivera/Mike Shula easily the worst two. The worst starter? Probably Clausen with Teddy right on his heels
