  1. I’ve never ever seen a player flagged for taking their helmet off to celebrate out of bounds. I’ve seen it a few times in the end zone or on the regular field. Aka in the field of play.
  2. Wut. I never said he was trash, too old or garbage. I said I didn’t think he was a good permanent starter and I already admitted my error yesterday
  3. Yea that was an incredible pass for sure. Cam has done it, I’m sure Josh Allen could do it. Aaron Rodgers probably. Stafford in his prime. That’s about all I can think of among active QBs.
  4. He took his helmet off out of bounds out the back of the end zone. The rule doesn’t say he can’t be in the field of play without a helmet. That happens often when players run onto the field from the side line. The rule explicitly specifies the act of removing the helmet is the penalty, not being helmetless.
  5. You’re conveniently leaving out the critical part of what you yourself are even presenting. It says “in the end zone”. Moore wasn’t in the end zone. Diggs was. Moore was out of bounds (aka out of the field of play) when he took his helmet off. Full stop. Not a penalty.
  6. Probably. Was still soul crushingly bad though lol
  7. It’s definitely better the past two games. His first post-Rhule game may have been the worst OC’d game I’ve ever seen. Even worse than Shula
  8. Diggs was in the field of play. DJ wasn’t. That simple.
  9. There’s no rule against coming onto the field of play without a helmet to celebrate. By the letter of the rules, he did nothing wrong. You could argue he broke the spirit of the rule but that standard is never applied in the other direction, shouldn’t have today. Not to mention taking the helmet off is rarely penalized anyway.
  10. The OT kick was the same distance as an extra point
  11. Technically, it wasn’t a penalty. It was an incorrect application of (h):
  12. Coming onto the field without a helmet on to celebrate isn’t a penalty. Happens all the time.
  13. Doesn’t matter what he said, he’d get fined if he spoke the truth about it anyway. It wasn’t a penalty, end of discussion.
  14. (h) clearly specifies in the field of play, which DJ wasn’t. Nowhere does it say they can’t come onto the field of play without a helmet to celebrate, so when DJ came back into the end zone wasnt a penalty either.
  15. Yep. Forgot about that one, but I said the same thing right after the play.
  16. He was literally all the way out of the end zone before he took his helmet off. Baby Hochuli fuged up (again). I’m sure there will be no mention of this in the media.
  17. Numerous terrible calls. Hochulis gonna Hochuli. At least five or more bad bad false starts, many egregious holds, and then the unwarranted flag on DJ taking his helmet off outside of the field of play
  18. He had a solid game. Some up’s and downs. Some really amazing throws, some really terrible throws. He definitely hasn’t come close to earning a shot to be our starter next year though.
  19. No it wasn’t. Kicker missed a similar kick to a normal PAT in overtime. No reason to believe he would have made it without the penalty
  20. I thought so, when I saw the flag I was saying to myself “he was outside the field of play, shouldn’t be a penalty any more than someone on the side lines taking off their helmet”
