  1. Man that line gave Baker all day on that check down. Our line is set for a long time if we resign Bozeman
  2. Eh no. He’s a good coach but too old and I don’t think he’d be successful here
  3. If anyone actually says we should take a QB with our first pick no matter who had already been taken, they should be ignored. “QB or bust” isn’t a defendable argument. But if we have a chance at a guy the team believes in we should do anything in our power to go get him. Stroud and Young are those type of guys, just depends on which the new coach will prefer. But you don’t take Levis or Hooker or some other less talented guy at the top of the first just because you need a QB. If we’re picking at 3 and there is no way to move up for Stroud or Young, we try to trade down or take whoever is top on our board and maybe Levis, Hooker or one of the other guys is available at the top of the 2nd and if the team believes they’re a good value there we roll the dice with a 2nd round pick. Same strategy we used last draft. Didn’t reach for Pickett because neither he nor any of the other QBs were high talent guys. But when the value was right and a guy with potential was available we went and got him. tldr: there’s a lot more nuance than most here (and Darin gantt) like to spend brain cells on
  4. One thing I liked, on that Burns sack he had to presence of mind to peel off and jump for the bat down in case Mariota got the pass off. Smart
  5. Trash coach, threw his players under the bus, stubbornly held back talent. No thanks, he stuck around 6 years too long. Even Rhule might have been able to have a “winning record” with the generational talents we had those years.
  6. ‘15 was incredibly overrated, ‘08 was great, ‘03 was great. I’d put ‘22 almost on par with them.
  7. Trade up for our QB. But outside of that, for now I’d probably go with that WR from TCU. Kid is a beast, best WR in college right now.
  8. Yea we have some skill players for sure and an OL. We just need a QB and a new competent coaching staff and we’re ready to compete.
  9. Not nearly as much of a priority as I thought. Seems Foreman and Blackshear are a good combo of power and speed. Wouldn’t be opposed to a flier on a mid round guy that is promising though. Chuba needs to go away.
  10. Same. We’re undefeated in black helmets. Make them permanent!
  11. Probably a similar trade deal it took for most top two or three pick trades recently, two firsts and two seconds one each in the next two drafts. Luckily we have an extra second this year. So essentially it’ll cost an extra first (next year) and two seconds to get our QB
  12. Chiefs got Mahommes by trading up to 10, I think it was. I’d rather have our choice of the board, but it can happen. Lots of great QBs go after the first two picks.
  13. No, but I’ve seen him setting the edge, funneling run plays inside right to tacklers and pressuring the QB all game. Not sure what you’re watching.
  14. Yea I assumed it was just a misclick by a mod. Figured they would have noticed and remade the thread quickly though
  15. Did i miss something and it went more off the rails than usual for some reason?
