  1. I was impressed with his throw at the 6:08 mark, it was a tight spiral and on target. While it's unlikely he'll do that here, it just shows how comfortable he is no matter the task.
  2. Best news I've heard all day.
  3. Most propositions here on the Huddle become "all or nothing." It's a constant swinging from one extreme to the other with very little tolerance of anything in the middle. It's sad. I didn't want TMac, but I'm a fan now and hope he has a lot of success regardless of my pre-draft biases.
  4. It makes perfect sense. He performs, he's a model citizen and teammate, it sets the precedent moving forward.
  5. While I'd love to get back to a power run scheme and I'm 100% supportive of having a lead blocking FB, I don't think he'd be the guy with his age. 5 years ago? Absolutely!
  6. I'd never be upset taking OL early, especially at such a coveted position. Ickey is ok, Moton is old...I'd be all for it. Is it our biggest need? No, but it's such a valuable position.
  7. Woo Hoo! I'll be there with my family, we're looking forward to it.
  8. That should be expected as he learns strength's, preferences, tendencies, etc.; but a lot of that is evident on game tape too. So we'll see how the offense evolves. Another pitfall is letting the pendulum swing too far and you over adjust and get too complex. It's a delicate balance for sure.
  9. I'm excited about the possibilities with them moving forward. My concern now is to see how they adjust to the league having a bunch of film, will they be able to stay ahead of the curb?
  10. I'm a big fan after watching all the UGA games over the last couple of years.
  11. He improved over last year's wretched performance, but was it enough to warrant the Panthers picking up his 5th year option and possibility a new contract? What say you? Unless we upgrade in the draft this year I think we have to. Moton is long in the tooth and reliable LT's are hard to come by. So many holes to fill... https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article297503103.html
  12. I'll go back and watch the coaches film, I'm curious. I was only halfway paying attention by that point yesterday. My point is that if you were to just run every WR in the NFL in a straight line for 40-50 yards AT woud finish in the bottom half. I may be wrong, but flat out speed was never his game anyway. He's a route technician who has great quickness and lateral agility and burst. I hope he can teach XL how to catch! EDIT - upon watching the replay it looks to me like the safety and CB were surprised, both got late breaks. Coker ran an out and AT gave a very subtle move. I would bet they were expecting Coker to go long and AT run an in or a comeback. If you look at their stances, body position and eyes, it sure looks like they were shocked that AT went deep.
