The wildest thing about Bryce to me is that he really was the near consensus #1 QB available that year and I went back and watched a LOT of gameplay and came back saying "HOW?!" I'm watching receivers getting wide ass open and Bryce floating wounded ducks down the field and I'm like what is everyone seeing in this QB that I'm missing because I'm not seeing anything here that will translate to the NFL.

You don't completely mortgage the franchise to trade up to draft a QB who has to be carried. You do it because you think he's a guy who can carry. But some folks just want to keep making excuses for Bryce.

Bryce had plenty room for error on that throw to Renfrow and he still screwed it up. He had an easy path to jog to the sticks on the INT. You gotta open your eyes, man.

That Jags DB too. Wide open. The cope from some still desperately trying to hang on is wild.

Watching these 1st half highlights across the league and watching throws all over the place that I honestly just don't think Bryce is physically capable of making.

Scheme didn't underthrow a walk in TD and throw a ball right to a waiting DB instead of jogging for an easy 1st down.

I checked the radar awhile ago and I'm thinking maybe 2:45, so probably close to 3 after they do a warm up

Baker has an NFL arm. That's the key difference. We had a walk in TD that turned into a FG because Bryce simply couldn't put the ball far enough down the field. We've seen that happen repeatedly.

That's honestly what's most frustrating. Everyone being honest with themselves knew Bryce was significantly physically limited at the NFL level. I mean, historically so. But I did not anticipate him simply failing to see waiting defenders sitting on crossing routes and throwing it right to them instead of simply jogging for the 1st down. If he had elite talent you're thinking okay, maybe he can develop beyond that but he doesn't. What he was supposed to have was elite recognition, awareness, and decision making and I simply haven't seen any of it.

Just sayin'...

I'm not even mad. I said all I wanted this year is to get the answer on Bryce. Be significantly improved and look like the solution or just be ass. So far he's obliging.

Yeah, the DB has a right to his spot on the field and he was in better position to catch the ball than the receiver. He doesn't have to yield his position.

I could easily just run for the first down, but nah I'll just throw a pick instead.

About as easy as downfield throws come in the NFL.

You know what helps Hunter as a WR? Not covering him. LOL

I don't mind the delay as long as the right call eventually gets made. Probably checking with each other on whether or not it passed the LOS

Defense has looked decent until a down that matters. Then it looks the same as last year.

That's the type of respect you get when you had the worst defense in history last year. Teams will go for it on 4th down deep in their own territory on the first drive of the game... and convert.

Horn should've picked that. That throw was trash.

I just hope the weather doesn't resemble that infamous Jacksonville washout game where it looked like there was about three inches of standing water on the field for most of the game.

I hope we're ready to trot Christensen out there if he struggles.
