  1. Literally the only stress involved was having to face duke in the Final Four. Other than that it was straight house money. I've never been able to enjoy a run like that with zero expectations. Every other UNC Final Four run has been fully expected and anything less than a championship was going to be a massive letdown. Basically, like our 2015 SB run. That poo is stressful. This tourney run was just flat out fun and it's precisely because it was so completely unexpected.
  2. Um... That type of trade would look something like #6, our next two 1sts, and Brian Burns. That still might not be enough.
  3. Strong definitely has an NFL arm but I don't think his arm is all that special. Kind of a run of the mill good NFL arm.
  4. Yeah, that dude was FUN to watch in college in that offense. I'm just not seeing translatable NFL traits. Not every great college player has translatable traits.
  5. Quality post. Thanks for sharing. Seriously. It beats the constant bitching.
  6. Yeah, good call. For whatever reason I tend to forget about his Chicago seasons
  7. There were individual games when it felt like he dropped that many.
  8. You got a temp ban (not even from me) for physically threatening another poster. You're lucky to still be here at all.
  9. I mean, when you consistently draft as shitty as we do and run with virtually no depth as a result, it's kinda hard to have any talent to speak of slip through the cracks. Sad, but true. On good rosters sometimes good talent gets caught up in a numbers game. The "numbers game" we usually play is "how in the hell are we going to find 22 NFL caliber players to field a starting lineup" much less a full 53.
  10. I don't think that counts for what OP is talking about. Peppers was already a superstar here before he went to GB.
  11. Evan Mathis comes to mind. Bust for us, 2x Pro Bowler and 1st team All-Pro for the Eagles... and was the starting LG for the Broncos in SB50.
  12. I don't think the buddy factor plays near the role that you think. At the end of the day, you're still taking the deal that you think is best for your team. Buddies or not.,
  13. I don't know, man. The way we had been shooting we needed all the cracks at it we could get.
  14. How you still posting then? You got nothing for that post.
  15. Ultimately, I think Corral and Howell are the best QB prospects in this draft. Yeah, Willis has the best raw talent but there are tons of question marks around his level of competition and sporadic accuracy. Yeah, Pickett had a great season but it came out of nowhere when he was the oldest most experienced player on the field granted an extra season due to COVID. Where was anywhere near that level of play before? Ridder? You just don't see a special guy when you watch him. He looks like a JAG. The whole is far less than the s of the parts. My rankings go: Howell Corral Willis That's the end of the list for guys I'd spend a 1st on.
  16. What? Did you get either a warning or a temp ban?
  17. Why be a douchebag? She's about the least trolly poster on this site.
  18. Miss out on the opportunity to end K's career with a Final Four loss? Yeah man, you just don't get it. As much as it sucked losing those two Super Bowls I sure as hell enjoyed those seasons a lot more than floundering around with five win poo show seasons under Rhule. It's fun to compete. Even when you come up short. It just plain sucks to suck.
  19. I'm talking about the player, not the team. Day three? Sure. But he ain't lasting until day three.
  20. It's a lot of moving parts but it's possible.
  21. Maybe you should take your own advice.
  22. Maybe he should just do like Tepper and hide in the basement when things don't go well.
  23. Yeah, the Heels have never played well when they go into "protect the lead" mode but I think Hubert knew his guys were running out of gas. I still think we would've been better off keeping the foot on the gas until the foot fell off but it's easy to say you should've done something different in hindsight. I'm proud of the way the team kept fighting like hell and didn't fold when KU came back. We couldn't hit water from a boat but the heart and effort never lacked.
  24. Watch him play. The measurables just don't translate. He looks like a JAG out there.
