Alexander predicts we get Garoppolo or Mayfield
LinvilleGorge replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Everything about Jimmy G suggests he'd be a great vet mentor. -

Insert whatever bum on the Niners roster at QB and he probably has playoff stats. -

They're both under contract. It would be yet another trade for a cast off level vet QB. -

This "he's a winner" stuff has to stop. He sucks. He's a subpar QB who has been fortunate to play for some really good overall teams. Look at his playoff stats. They're Darnold level bad.- 96 replies

If we could get Mayfield for that I'd rather go that route than Jimmy G. Mayfield with an ego checking could be a good QB. The only two vets I'd consider are Mayfield (for the right price) and Minshew. Minshew would preferably be brought in as a bridge while we develop (the thought of this staff developing a rookie QB ) a rookie. -

I said a long time ago that Jimmy G would be our QB. Everything about Jimmy G screams "Matt Rhule QB". -
It's literally "The Brand".

If this was created by a professional marketing team, then our marketing department might actually be worse than our football department.

Honestly I think it's driven by Tepper. He's been trying to downplay "Keep Pounding" since he bought the team. He wants rid of everything that was from the pre-Tepper era. By extension, I have to assume that he wants rid of the prior fanbase as well because holy poo, he couldn't be doing much better of a job of running us off.

James Borrego / Matt Rhule…. Is their a worse 1-2 combo
LinvilleGorge replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't follow the NBA anymore but Matt Rhule and Phil Jackson might still be the worst 1-2 combo. -
I feel vindicated that when I finally get to the point that I throw in the towel that I didn't quit on the Panthers. The Panthers became a completely different thing than the Panthers I'd always rooted for. We just grew apart.

It's so unfinished. I would think it was a work in progress with "The Brand" standing in for what the slogan was actually going to be except for that super cringe dictionary pronunciation key for "brand" underneath. This is HS project level marketing and that might be an insult to decent HS students.

I doubt Luke worked like a typical scout.

This is like the Kardashians concerning themselves about their brand when their entire brand is built around Kim getting dicked down on camera by a joke tier rapper. That's what the rest of the NFL has been doing to us in the Tepper era. That's your brand, Dave.

"The Brand" is a fuging joke right now. These guys need to stop talking and trying to play bullshit marketing games and focus on building a winning football team. Some bullshit slogan about being a tough competitive team is just laughable right now seeing that we're in the midst of the worst stretch of football in the history of an organization with an overall losing record. It's truly stunning how completely tone-deaf this organization is under Tepper. The smartest move I've seen out of this organization since Tepper took over is our social media expert tossing up the deuces and getting the fug out of here.

Rockhill site going south fast it seems.

Then they can play their games elsewhere. I'll just watch more college football. I'm getting close as is.
