  1. Dude is a monster. I honestly don't see how he isn't a a top 10 lock after testing out as an absolute freak. 3-4 NT, 3 tech, 5 tech. I think he can do it all.
  2. If we make a pick at 6, future picks are getting traded. A dude as trade happy as Fitterer ain't gonna sit on his hands while 131 draft picks get made.
  3. Why would anyone be shocked? Under Rhule we've spent all our draft assets on D while trying to build an O off the NFL's trash heap.
  4. I don't think he was ready to be an NFL OC yet, but I think people are greatly underestimating the impact of Sam Darnold's mental limitations. Darnold at QB basically meant we ended up having to run essentially a HS version of the offense we were running previously under Teddy. Teddy suffered from a lack of aggressiveness. He didn't push the ball down the field or into the endzone, but the offense pretty much ran as I tended between the 20s and we loved the football. Darnold's physical talents were supposed to make up for what Teddy lacked. Instead, we had to really dumb down the offense because Darnold is a one read, then glance at the checkdown, then panic QB because he's not a QB. He has the physical tools but he doesn't see the field like a QB.
  5. Everyone who keeps talking like fixing the OL will magically turn Sam Darnold into a legit NFL QB just isn't realizing the problem. Sam Darnold isn't a QB. He's a talented thrower of the football but he doesn't see the field like a QB. Here's what happens far too often when Sam Darnold actually has time. Pure panic followed by a comical mistake.
  6. Is stating that Sam Darnold sucks and he isn't the answer really "trashing" him? I mean, it's basically just acknowledging reality.
  7. Said he was done. Said he wasn't mad. Clearly wasn't done. Clearly mad as hell. You really gotta address this self awareness issue.
  8. You're doing what you always do. Blind homerism and complaining. Mixed with a stunning dose of lack of self awareness to realize that it's all you ever do. You don't have to apologize for it. Everyone fully expects it.
  9. Complain. Blind homerism. Pooing. Those are your Huddle activities. A lot of your posts are a combination of the first two. Post a blind homer take while complaining other opinions exist.
  10. You never post in a thread without complaining about something (usually that other people are posting and sharing opinions, you know the entire point of this place) and half of your activity here is just dropping poo emojis. Which is you in a nutshell. Pure passive aggressiveness toward anything that isn't a total Panther homer take. I don't know why you bother coming here.
  11. Damn. Now that's a stunning lack of self awareness being displayed.
  12. A lot of people are overlooking these very simple realities.
  13. I don't hate Darnold, he's just not the answer. I don't hate the folks who still try to convince themselves he can be the answer because it's honestly just funny.
  14. You gotta be an Olympic level mental gymnast to try to convince yourself that this crew is gonna be competitive with Sam Darnold.
  15. Man... if you have to FORCE someone to listen... yikes. If the final say is his, then it really doesn't matter. If he doesn't want to listen then he won't
  16. Brought to you by the guy who got himself hyped on both Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold.
  17. I think you're completely mischaracterizing my argument here. What I'm saying is that the type of QB prospect the Huddle wants and always acts like is going to be available for us "next year" is a once in a decade type prospect that goes #1 overall. My point is that you don't have to have that guy and your odds of landing that guy are hear zero so stop being hung up on it.
  18. You think those guys (the first three specifically) don't go higher today? The QB position is more vital than ever and height is no longer the huge knock against a QB prospect that it used to be. As a prospect, I still doubt Brady would go in the 1st due to questions about his physical tools but he also wouldn't have been playing in a leather football helmet offense that limited his stats either.
  19. We're not talking about the best QBs in the league. We're talking about prospects. Not all the best QBs were the best prospects which has been my point about this year's QB class all along. No, there's no Andrew Luck or Trevor Lawrence type prospect but that honestly doesn't matter. The Huddle is only interested in those Luck and Lawrence type prospects though and you only find those guys at #1 overall and they only come around about once a decade, so best of luck landing that guy.
  20. So what are you gonna do? Pull a Hurney and trade next year's 1st?
  21. Much more proven to suck. I'll take an unknown over proven ass.
  22. This is the ending scene of Thelma and Louise and Tepper is that cop trying to chase the car down as he watches his dream team fly over the cliff.
