  1. Huntley threw 30+ passes in five games. The Ravens went 1-4 in those games only beating the Bears. He threw for 2 TDs and 0 INTs vs. the Packers but in the other four games combined for only 1 TD and 4 INTs. Huntley looks like he could potentially become a serviceable backup. I don't see him as a starter at all. The Steelers made him look like a guy who didn't belong in the NFL in their final game.
  2. Both of y'all are embarrassing yourselves and should stop for your own sake.
  3. You need a mix. We're bringing in those core 3-4 year guys this year and the stud next year.
  4. I have no idea how any Heels fan is less than positive right now. Baffling. If I couldn't be positive right now I'd just stop being a sports fan.
  5. Damn, he looks like poo. I hope he's okay. Like seriously. He doesn't look good. Like a chubby late stage spiraling with crippling heroin addiction Layne Staley.
  6. Seems like Rhule is taking a page from the playbook of his boss. When you suck at your job, just hide.
  7. Bingo. Most likely, a new coach is here next year hoping to flip Pickett for a 3rd while he targets another QB. It is what it is. This is what we signed up for when we kept Rhule.
  8. It's not a coincidence that the average Wonderlic score of SB winning QBs is significantly higher than average. Someone posted it earlier. It's close to 30. No, it's not the end all be all but it's a relevant data point to consider.
  9. It's like watching a toddler try to build with Legos. They grasp the idea of the concept but the attempt at execution is straight comedy.
  10. The problem is a lot bigger than Matt Rhule. Who chose to give him a huge 7 year contract, gave him full control over the football operations, and chose to retain him when the entire rest of the world can clearly see he's in way over his head?
  11. Agree. Zero day two picks a big part of it but the bigger picture for me is the reality that I've simply never been less interested in the Panthers as a whole as I am currently.
  12. Yeah and there are great WRs who ran 4.7 and busts who ran 4.3. It's still relevant information and a data point. If the lack of a perfect forecasting record makes an evaluation tool pretty meaningless then it's all pretty meaningless. The reality is it's all just data points and part of the bigger picture and overall evaluation.
  13. I don't know. I'm just getting he has one.
  14. I doubt just weight would take him off boards. I'd bet on a degenerative back or major joint condition. Football is a brutal sport.
  15. Pickett and Corral... oof. Anything sub-20 is red flag territory so Ridder and Strong are borderline. Cam scored a 21 for reference.
  16. Degenerative conditions don't require a prior major injury.
  17. Always fun to watch the draft as a general NFL fan. Am I excited as a Panthers fan? Honestly, no.
  18. I honestly don't care about the 5* guys. Who on the 2017 team was a 5* recruit? Honestly, I'd take all those 25-75 ranked guys I could get my hands on. Damn good players but also likely 3-4 year types. Sprinkle in the occassional elite recruit and that's the formula IMO.
  19. I just don't understand trades like this made before you even know who's available.
  20. When everything is coming up short you.re out of gas. Our lack of depth and two injured stars finally caught up to us. Still one helluva run. Now time to finish the job, just like 2017.
  21. Allen is still the most shocking improvement of a passer I've seen from the college to the NFL. Dude sprayed the ball around like his cannon lacked any sighting system in college.
  22. The biggest issue I see with him technically is that he doesn't bring his feet with him. What I mean is that he'll go through his reads and when he sees what he likes he'll just make the throw with his arm. It's crazy how often he pulls it off, but I think NFL level QB coaching will help him a lot. He got away with it in college so they never really addressed it. I mean, you can find plays where he throws a deep out with his shoulders open and his hips nowhere near aligned. That's wild. I think his arm is even better than folks realize. Kenny Pickett can't make that throw period and Howell can still make it with just an arm throw with no body or hips into it.
  23. I seriously question their evaluation based on this line. Throwing the deep ball is by far his biggest strength.
  24. I had off field concerns about Corral but that rumored 15 Wonderlic is alarming. On the field, I think Howell and Corral are the two best. Willis has the best pure talent. Pickett is a JAG who benefitted greatly from a 5th year of eligibility. That 5th year is going to be worth literally millions to him and probably get a GM fired.
