I've been hearing about Miami's return to greatness for over a decade.

The playoffs were great this year but Tepper running the Panthers into the ground while trying to position himself to fleece the city of Charlotte out of a publicly funded stadium has just lifted the veil off the charade for me. Yeah, it's time to revert back to my pre-Peppers fandom. General NFL fan with favorite players I like to watch more so than favorite teams with a casual interest in the Panthers as the local team but with nothing concrete to solidify myself as a true Panthers fan. I mean, that's basically where I am. Tepper has stripped everything I loved away from the Panthers so yeah... that's kinda where I'm at. I don't anticipate watching a whole lot of Panthers games moving forward. I'll pay attention to see if there any signs of change or evolvement but I'm not expecting it.

One stat category sums up the "Jimmy G is a bad QB on a great team" better than any other IMO. He is credited with 10 career game winning drives. His stats on those drives? 30 attempts for 44 yards. 1.5 yards per attempt. Two TD passes.

In similar situations I think they're probably surprisingly similar. Yeah, Jimmy is better. Better enough to actually produce significantly better results? Honestly, I doubt it.

Yeah, I was about to say that this is maybe the smartest QB related thing I've seen regarding the Panthers since Rhule was hired.

Huntley threw 30+ passes in five games. The Ravens went 1-4 in those games only beating the Bears. He threw for 2 TDs and 0 INTs vs. the Packers but in the other four games combined for only 1 TD and 4 INTs. Huntley looks like he could potentially become a serviceable backup. I don't see him as a starter at all. The Steelers made him look like a guy who didn't belong in the NFL in their final game.
