The average homeowner is going to get a much better job done a lot quicker with a lot less headaches and might even save money when all is said and done by hiring a pro to do any type of significant project. It's just the truth.

I've always liked Leftwich dating back to his days at Marshall but being Brady's OC has to be the easiest job in football. Just let him go to work.

Fug no. One, successful coaches rarely find similar success elsewhere. Two, Bountygate itself is more than enough reason to say fug no on it's own. I cannot bring myself to root for a Sean Payton coached team. Nope. Not gonna do it.

The Carolina Panthers are owned by a Dan Snyder clone
LinvilleGorge replied to tiger7_88's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper just seems like a run of the mill bad owner so far. Snyder is one of the worst owners on pro sports history. Not saying Tepper won't get there, but he has a long way to go to earn Snyder comps. -
MC9's skill set is greater than Baker's.
LinvilleGorge replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Corral may prove to be a better NFL QB but he doesn't have anywhere near Baker's physical talent. But Sam Darnold is proof positive that physical talent doesn't necessarily make for an NFL QB. -
Reddick wasn't very good against the run either. You can afford to have one guy on your DL that isn't great being ran right at. You can't get away with both of your edges being that way.

Avalanches are terrifying. I used to do a lot of backcountry snowboarding but quit when I found out my wife was pregnant. That just changed the risk assessment calculation big time. We were pretty conservative with our decision making but the Colorado snowpack is fuging SKETCHY at its best. You take someone from Washington or California and have them dig a pit in Colorado and they just look at you like "What the FUG??!!!" while you're looking at the same pit like "Hmmm... better than I expected."

Baker Mayfield has a lot to prove, period!
LinvilleGorge replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is not a great situation for someone with alcohol and depression issues to be walking into. Corral was my second favorite QB in the draft but I thought he needed to go to a stable organizational environment. I didn't think we were a great fit. Just being honest. -
WalterFootball... High on the Panthers for the NFC?
LinvilleGorge replied to thunderraiden's topic in Carolina Panthers
Smart move honestly. If they're right they can spike the football and proclaim loudly and proudly that they called it. If they're wrong no one will remember anyway. -

No, he really wasn't. He's easily #3 on our list at the moment which isn't much but hey, it's something. -

Yes. If Cam hadn't been ready, Pickles would've started. Back to back 400 yard games out of the gate said Cam was more than ready. If they'd gone by your standard, Pickles very well may have been the day one starter. Cam looked pretty rocky in preseason. Hell, he always did. Cam was a gamer much like Jake was. Way better on Sundays than in practice. You're embarrassing yourself here man, but that's nothing new for you.

There's no cap savings by cutting him. We're on the hook for all of it. So I say let him "compete". Maybe Baker Mayfield could use the humbling of being forced to compete for his job with the worst QB on the league. Who knows, maybe someone gets injured in camp around the league and we end up with a similar deal. We eat the majority of Darnold's cap hit and get a conditional pick in return. Cool

"Excited" or "optimistic" would be overstating my expectations for this season substantially, but I'd put myself in the "intrigued" category. I can't say I'm expecting success but I can at least envision a potential path to success now. If we had an coach that I thought was NFL caliber I'd be legit excited.

Agreed with everything until Even Sam might play better with this line. Nope. Don't fall into that trap.
