    I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Bacot is back again next year taking advantage of the opportunity for an extra year due to COVID. He's not considered a good NBA prospect. He can probably pocket more in NIL deals next year than he can make playing pro ball. His pro opportunities would still be there afterwards.

    I expected Washington to start eating into his minutes over the course of the season. I don't know why it isn't happening. Hubert just doesn't seem interested in developing a bench. He wants to ride or die with his starting five. Which is weird for a product of old school UNC basketball. Dean Smith always went at least 8 deep with core players, oftentimes 9 or 10.

    I mean, we had a ton of guys go to bat for Wilks. The biggest thing Saturday has going for him might end up being the only thing that actually matters - he's the guy Irsay evidently wants.

    Unless we're talking about whoever won this year's putrid NFC South. That team was always going to be cannon fodder in the playoffs and that's why I wanted no part of being that team and costing ourselves a lot of draft position to do it.

    Me too. But that basically just means I think the odds are higher than zero. I'm still not convinced they're actually decent odds.

    I think the coaching will be legit. Can they solve the QB problem? That's the question.

    I'd be shocked but crazier things have happened. The rookie wage scale has made it far more tempting to pull the trigger on QBs high in round one.

    Translation: we are getting the outcomes we want. My confidence in the integrity of NFL officiating was irreparably damaged by SB50 and then watching the exact same thing happen again on opening day of 2016 just to prove the point.

    The combination of the Panthers sucking ass and NFL officiating seeming to be absolutely incompetent at best and intentionally influencing the outcome of games at worst has my interest in the NFL spiralling. I honestly don't know if I'm even gonna watch the Super Bowl.

    If Stroud fails it won't be because of arm strength. His arm is fine. He doesn't have an elite NFL arm but there's no routes you're hesitant to dial up because of his arm.

    Yeah, I don't see any physical red flags with him. He doesn't have Josh Allen's arm but his arm is plenty good enough.
