  1. I agree if you're talking overall organization and future. Yeah, take the elite QB and try to find the coach later. My response was crafted around the assumption that you're stuck in a particular situation. If I'm stuck, I take the elite coach with the decent QB over the elite coach and the imbecile HC.
  2. I'm sure they're quaking in their cleats and staying up at night trying to figure out our offense that resembles something my six year old would scratch out in crayon on a napkin.
  3. 59 is pretty young but at the same time it's a good run for a guy who at 23 didn't know if he'd live to see 24.
  4. Yeah, it's totally normal for a guy to look like he's being tazed after a run of the mill NFL tackle. Oh, that same guy wobbled around like someone pulled over blowing three times the limit on a Saturday night during the game 4 days ago and they called it a "back injury"?
  5. Yes. You constantly whining about other people posting. It's all you ever do.
  6. OMG, they're gonna give that Cuomo chode another show? Why? Who is gonna watch that? He's lost all credibility and is pretty much universally hated by everyone from all sides.
  7. We should've been signing Teddy as a stopgap while we looked for a young QB. But then Teddy told the truth about Rhule and company and they had to ditch him. Rhule's ego couldn't take it. Well, to be fair, we should've had Cam playing out his contract while we looked for a young QB.
  8. Demonstrably false. We were #21 in the NFL in yards per game and #24 in points per game. We were #18 in both yards allowed and points allowed. The offense was worse than the defense that year.
  9. I have two entirely differing opinions on Teddy. One, Teddy sucks. Two, Teddy is a decent game manager. One is the result of dumping our former MVP QB to name Teddy our newly anointed starter. But seriously, Teddy is an extremely underwhelming starter. Two is Teddy as a backup QB. He's pretty much exactly what you want in a veteran backup. He's going to go out there, make the safe plays and not do anything to cost you the game. He's going to allow your team to win the games it should but he won't win you any that you shouldn't.
  10. Oh wow. Teddy with a legit deep ball. Yeah, it was underthrown but Hill being one of the best deep ball receivers in the league finds a way to reel it in anyway. I have no idea why the announcers are drooling over the throw and the arm strength. That was Tyreke Hill being Tyreke Hill. Teddy underthrowing him just made his job harder.
  11. A buddy of mine I grew up playing with walked on at a D1AA school. He had to admit he just couldn't hack it. He was getting his bell rung in practice everyday. Getting crushing migraines, couldn't sleep, couldn't concentrate. Basically textbook post-concussion syndrome.
  12. It's weird. Speaking of combat sports, some guys get knocked out once and their "chin" is just gone. They can't take a hit anymore. Other guys can bounce back fine like it never happened. There's a lot about concussions that we just don't understand.
  13. I've gotten knocked the fug out twice. Once in a mountain bike crash and once in a car crash. It's impossible to describe how confusing it is when you wake up. After the car crash I was the same way. Just crazy emotional blabbering on about a situation a good friend found himself in a couple of years prior. Why? No fuging clue. I don't even remember it. I'm just lucky I never had any lingering effects.
  14. Nah, just a run of the mill concussion. A lot of the time it's not the hit so much as it is the brain getting sloshed around inside the skull. He basically got his head whiplashed off the turf there. And let's be real, he's still recovering from last week's concussion making him far more prone to another one.
  15. I guess it's just different for me as a fight fan. It's not a common response to a head injury but it's not rare either.
  16. When he kinda threw the staff under the bus late in the season that was it for him in Carolina. The ton from the organization regarding Teddy shifted immediately. Meanwhile, Rhule will toss players under the bus left and right when he himself has accomplished nothing in the NFL. If I had to choose Teddy with an elite staff or Rhule with an elite QB, I'd lick Teddy all day everyday.
  17. Teddy is a solid game manager. He's not gonna win you any games but he can at least keep you from losing games. He's basically exactly what you want in a veteran backup. He's especially ideal when your starter is Tua. They have the same strengths and weaknesses. Teddy is basically wish.com Tua. You don't have to change anything.
  18. Oof. Yeah, that's basically admitting that you know the guy shouldn't be out there and probably won't make it through the game. Yikes.
  19. The league still shoulders significant blame. They have the independent neurologist requirements to take the decision away from the team as much as possible. He should've been assessed by a neurologist before returning to the game last week.
  20. I'm not gonna make fun of the guy when he never should've been on the field tonight to begin with. The concussion protocol was clearly no followed.
  21. He got knocked the fug out, that's what happened. It's call the fencing response.
  22. Tua just got concussed again. Basically looked like an instant replay of last week. Head getting bounced off the field.
