I have a dream that one day people will stop making fools of themselves talking about the draft and "facts".
-
Yeah, I'm not throwing in the towel on Fields either. But man, Chicago has done a terrible job trying to develop young QBs and put a team around them. It's really looking like Trubisky version 2.0. If you're going to draft QBs who should actually try to build an offense around them. There aren't many Cam Newton's who can rise above it.
-
Fields was a legit top 10 prospect. Not all prospects pan out and Chicago has proven to be one of the worst landing spots for a QB
-
Honestly, Fields was a better prospect.

Shaq is the only guy left that I'd really like to see moved.

I did a week. If you wanna make it permanent it's whatever. Can't say he hasn't earned it with this trollfest he's been on.
-
I thought @rayzor had banned you but I guess not. Your trolling is out of control.

We traded real assets for the statistically worst starting QB in recent NFL memory. It was absolutely not a good value.
-
That Lance trade has really hamstrung them. They're kinda forced to try to build a roster that can compete for a SB with Jimmy G and honestly that's guys like CMC and Deebo who can create offense on their own. Hell, I can go out there and throw screens to CMC and Deebo.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if a third of our roster hasn't asked for a trade.

PFT ARTICLE: The Panthers slide squarely into tank mode
LinvilleGorge replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tanking is 100% in the NFL though. You still have to win a lottery in the NBA. You can pull off the perfect tank and still get screwed. The bottom line is that if you're not going to the playoffs, every game you win is hurting you in the long run. It's the most frustrating thing about being a pro sports fan. With college sports you always want to win. There's no competitive advantage to losing. With pro sports the reality is that there is a true competitive advantage to losing if you're not post season bound. -

Fans have been begging for this ever since we parted ways with Cam. This was what Rhule should've done when he had the good will of being a proudly hired new coach.- 98 replies

Burns is probably going to be traded right?

I'm at the point of wishing Tepper would go get Sean Payton. Just give me my excuse to wash my hands and walk away. I'll never root for any team coached by that guy or Gregg Williams. Nope. They're trash and should've been banned from the NFL for life. -

You're not wrong. If I could get out I'd be trying to get out. -
Welp… Stroud is the guy, right?

That Syracuse RB is a stud. I'll take that guy. -

Imagine what home game attendance is gonna look like the rest of the season. -

If the draft was held today, yeah. Still a lot of college football to be played though. -

Pass rushers are FAR more valuable than RBs. -
I would've preferred a 1st but the reality is that he's a RB coming off of two injury plagues seasons. It's a testament to his sheer talent that we still got what we did. Most RBs would be practically worthless after two IR seasons.
