I guarantee you the guys with size concerns (like CMC) step onto that combine scale so tanked up with water they're about to both puke and piss themselves.

Why I feel Wilks needs another season to win his job.
LinvilleGorge replied to Snake's topic in Carolina Panthers
Are we pretending Wilks isn't a retread? If Tepper can't land a top candidate then I hate to say it but we're fuged. It basically means guys with other options don't wanna work for him. -

You gotta make a call. He's the guy or he isn't. You can't get playing hot potato with head coaches year after year. -

He has the rest of this season. Plenty of football left to play for him to show he can be the guy or possibly crash and burn. No need to make any decisions now. -
Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns
LinvilleGorge replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, but if I'm the Eagles I'd rather have Quinn and part with a 4th vs. have Burns and part with two 1sts. -
If you could wave a magic wand and make young 3" taller and 30 pounds heavier then he'd basically be a perfect prospect for the modern NFL. Unfortunately you can't I suspect the very legitimate size concerns will lead to his evaluations varying wildly from team to team.

Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns

To be fair, I should've said "were". I highly doubt they still are after reading for Robert Quinn. -
Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns
LinvilleGorge replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
No. Not "a team". The defending Super Bowl champs. The Eagles are also hard after him. This is what good organizations do. They use bad organizations basically like minor league feeder teams. The Seahawks overpaid for Adams because they had dreams of the Legion of Boom dancing in their heads. All I'm saying here is we shouldn't be trading elite talent at premium positions because we're drunk on draft picks. We have pure junk on the edges minus Burns. Who knows how much draft capital you'll have to "burn" through trying to fix that. -
Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns
LinvilleGorge replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Seahawks haven't been a very well ran organization for awhile now. Trading two firsts for an in the box safety is a lot different than reading two firsts for a young edge rusher to pair with Aaron Donald. -

Both. NFL teams are throwing us prime time offers because Burns is a prime time talent. Burns has a Panthers problem. The Panthers don't have a Burns problem. -

What are your odds of replacing Burns? There's a reason a better team is offering those picks. And there's a reason why the Rams have a recent SB victory while we've been wallowing around in the muck of the dredges of the NFL. -
I think Stroud is a damn good college QB and a legit NFL prospect but I still think Justin Fields was the much better OSU QB prospect.
-
I'd put Clemson right there too. There's a reason why they make up 3/4s of the playoffs pretty much every year.
-
100% agreed with this. It's the Jimmy's and the Joe's not the Xs and the Os.
-
I don't give a rat's ass about OSU but @TheCasillas is DEFINITELY a hater.
-
Can't help that Rattler fell apart and the NFL badly missed their evaluation of Howell.

The 2024 draft looks like a QB draft for the ages.

P.J is 5'11..no problem with batted balls
LinvilleGorge replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Mayfield has kind of a slow wind up that gives defenders more time to time his throws. He's probably doing some other stuff to telegraph his throws too. -
He probably actually wanted assurance that Tepper's checks were going to keep clearing and he wasn't gonna get Rock Hill'd.

What’s your 2023 QB big board (including Corral)
LinvilleGorge replied to Wundrbread33's topic in Carolina Panthers
Watch the actual throws and not just the stats. Lots of wide open receivers. Lots of receivers making adjustments to "area code" balls. -

I don't see 4.4 speed with Young. He seems quicker than fast to me which is fine. You gotta be fast to run a 4.4. That quicker than fast 4.6 guy might be a step ahead at the 10 yard mark but gets his doors blown off down the stretch. That's Bryce Young IMO. -

In the 4th round per my post? Hell yeah I'd take that "risk". Without hesitation. With a top 10 pick? Oh we mayne. -

What I've been saying all year much to the consternation of some. -

Half the GMs are fuging lying. I absolutely think his size is a huge concern but you're telling me you're not drafting Bryce Young if yes sitting there in the 4th round? Please.
