I don't disagree with Reid. He's the greatest offensive coach ever. But Mahomes' ability to throw on the move with crazy arm angles is like nothing I've ever seen. What we've seen in KC is what happens when the GOAT offensive coach has GOAT level QB talent.

I think Fields' can. The guy doesn't have anybody to throw to. They might have the worst receiving corps in the league.

The AFC is just leaps and bounds ahead of the NFC right now which is good for us if we can get our poo together.

Okay. He might not be. But I'm definitely not gonna make definitive statements like that about a guy with a ton of talent who is showing significant improvement despite being surrounded by trash. That wouldn't be a smart bet. And if I could have the choice of Lawrence or Fields right now, I'm picking Fields all day everyday.

Look at their receivers. Straight trash. Has another 74 yards and a TD on the ground too. Fields is pretty much their entire offense.

The NFL so badly wants to make Trevor Lawrence happen but Fields is starting to look like the guy in that draft class and he was right there. At least half of this forum (including me) was begging for him.

Those "I'm too good to possibly fail" guys always fail. Every QB worth having walks a fine line between confident and cocky but some guys are way across the line deep into cocky territory. Josh Rosen and Brock Osweiler are two that come to mind that I immediately tagged as busts just from watching their pre-draft interviews. Cocky as fug. Too good to possibly fail. Just better than everyone else.
