  1. TD Baylor. They go up one due to the missed TCU XP.
  2. Uh oh. Missed XP could potentially loom large. We'll see.
  3. TD TCU. Wide open. Baylor really blew it by not translating their 1st half dominance to the scoreboard.
  4. Baylor INT. Either TCU's QB flat out sucks or he's just having an awful day.
  5. What in the fug was that from TCU's QB? Had ALL DAY and threw an awful ball that should've absolutely been picked.
  6. Feels like Baylor missed a big opportunity in the 1st half racking up 320 yards and dominating TOP and yet going to half tied.
  7. Ouch. TCU INT on the endzone. Dude was open too. That ball had to be in the back corner.
  8. TCU tied it up at 14 but Baylor is moving the ball at will. Looks like they might be able to score again before half. TCU on pace to give up 600 yards.
  9. TCU needs to lose. I don't wanna see TCU in the playoffs.
  10. We're Panthers fans which means that a few weeks into the season there's pretty much nothing left to talk about except for hopefully a better future which means draft and potential coaches and frontier office folks. It is what it is.
  11. We won't honestly know his true rating until draft day. But it's gonna be a tall bar to clear guys like Ryan Leaf, Jamarcus Russell, Robert Gallery, etc.
  12. The evaluators are the ones missing on those picks. That was my point. It's a very inexact "science". There wouldn't be near as much interest on the opinions of talking heads if the actual professional NFL talent evaluators proved to be better at their jobs but that's just the nature of reality.
  13. And yet just look at the reality that there are steals and busts in every NFL draft. Always has been, always will be.
  14. I think NFL talent evaluators sometimes get caught in the trap of viewing a guy they want to like through the lens of what they think he can be if he both maximizes his potential AND is out in an ideal situation in terms of surrounding talent and system. The perfect scenario. Unfortunately, that perfect scenario rarely actually materializes because there's 31 other teams out there competing for that surrounding talent and coaches and scheming to beat you. You gotta look at what a guy is LIKELY to be in a real world NFL situation.
  15. Allen was a pure raw talent pick. Levis isn't in the same universe as Josh Allen on raw talent. Also remember Levis will be a 24 year old rookie. Interesting how everyone wants to mention Hooker's age and I see very few mentioning that Levis is nearly as old. That definitely factors into the development and ceiling equation. Those guys should be significantly further along than prospects significantly younger. They're basically men amongst boys
  16. None of this refutes the reality that we live in a society that views everything as disposable. Hell, it basically confirms it.
  17. The only issue with the current stadium is that we live in a society that views everything as disposable. If it's more than a few years old we need a shiny new one. My primary vehicle that I drive everyday is actually a year older than BOA.
  18. It's not Horn's fault that we picked him over Fields and I'm not gonna hold that against him. Wth that said, Fields should've absolutely been the pick and it was painfully obvious at the time.
  19. I wouldn't call only two top 25 wins (those being against briefly ranked Navy and ECU teams) "hugely successful". He has shown he can turnaround dumpster fire programs and make them competitive. Which if Nebraska is being honest about itself, that's what they are - a dumpster fire program. And that's why Rhule to Nebraska makes all the sense in the world.
  20. Meh, he's gone from here. That's all I care about. He's not an NFL coach. If he has success in college again then good for him. I ain't gonna be mad about it.
  21. I was saying that Rhule to Nebraska made all the sense in the world for both parties as soon as Frost got fired.
