Young, other top QBs have "odd" meeting with Tom Brady
LinvilleGorge replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep. Basically what I was gonna post. -
The other four kittens are alive and well. The mom has them in our old barn. I found them all hanging out today. They're surprisingly okay with people. One walked right up to me. What in the fug am I gonna do with these things? I don't want them producing dozens of wild stray cats. I'm not gonna kill them. So what do I do?

Fair catch inside the 25 = Touchback?

They want to eliminate kickoff returns from the game but they don't want to give up that commercial break so we get dumb poo like this. -
I think most teams will now that you are allotted an extra game day roster spot for a third QB. Honestly, there's no good reason not to.

He'll have every opportunity to make the roster.

I wish him nothing but the best and I wish he was still here.

We bought it a little mesh playpen thing so it can hang out. It's getting better using the litter box but I still line it with puppy pads just in case.

The lever action rifle was originally designed in 1860 but was produced in very limited numbers until roughly the end of the Civil War. The Civil War was an absolute bloodbath of casualties as it was, but imagine how much worse those numbers would've been if the lever action rifle was available in mass quantities at the time.

Still doing great. It's starting to learn how to use the litterbox and starting to learn how to retract it's claws. As nice as the former is, the latter is an even more welcome development.

Aaron Lewis is a phenomenal talent but he's just gone way over the top with the political stuff for my tastes. Hearing him cover Alice in Chains "Rooster" live solo acoustic will always be near the top of the vocal performances I've ever witness though. This is it:

Who in the world has said that Henderson is a good CB?

Panthers release Jacob Eason and Preston Williams
LinvilleGorge replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
This. I get it, everyone wants to be a starter and a star but an NFL backup QB is a pretty sweet gig. Plenty of guys have made a LOT of money and took minimal physical damage by being career backups. When you're his age you don't have a lot of life experience and perspective. But he'd be wise to look at the starting salaries of jobs he'd be looking at with his degree (assuming he graduated) outside of football. I'm pretty sure that holding a clipboard on an NFL sideline would start looking a lot more appealing -

This. You have 53 guys on your roster. All 53 should be dressed and available. -
I mean, Bill Belichick got fired before becoming the Pats' HC. Classic Browns move.
-
He probably would've been a lot more willing to do that before Brady went and got a ring without him. Now you have a lot of folks chirping about how the Pats' success had a lot more to do with Brady than it did Belichick and no doubt he hears it.
-
He might have been a lot more willing do that but then Brady went and got a ring without him and that has folks chirping that the Pats' success was a lot more about Tom Brady than it was about him.
-
Chudzinski got the Browns HC gig after we went 7-9. We went a combined 13-19 in his two seasons. The team doesn't have to be good for a coordinator to get plucked, just his unit.
-
I think he really wants to prove he can have a high level of success post-Brady. It's all about ego IMO. Mac Jones ain't it and I think he knows it. Hell, might as well give Bailey Zappe a legit shot.
-
I hope we lose them both because if we do that almost certainly means that we had one helluva season and wildly exceeded expectations.

It's be awesome if Zavala was an upgrade for us. Not just for the starting lineup but for depth. One of BC's best value propositions is his versatility. The guy can play all over the OL. If Zavala can be the starter it wouldn't surprise me if BC isn't the all-purpose OL backup. Now he wouldn't be that on gameday. You can't practice and be ready to plug and play at any given position every week, but I'm the event of a season ending injury to a starter or even an injury that is going to keep a starter out several weeks, that's where you spend a week letting BC focus on that spot so that there isn't a huge drop off in OL play. That's a valuable player on your roster.
-
I'm just really curious what the plan is for him. I'm not convinced that the staff has figured it out yet.
-
This fugin' guy... Juan gonna Juan.
-
Saying things like "prioritizing playing time" throws up red flags for me. You don't "prioritize playing time" for your starters.
-
Who thinks CB is a strength? I think most Panthers fans realize that outside of Horn CB is a problem sport for us, especially with Jackson coming off of a torn Achilles.

Tannehill is solid. A helluva lot better than I expect Ridder to be. Folks overlook that when the Titans won the division back to back years Tannehill threw for about 7500 yards and 50+ TDs. The Titans went 6-6 last year with Tannehill starting. They went 1-4 in the games he missed.
