He's gonna have to speed up his processing significantly in the NFL. He holds the ball forever. His average time to throw last year would've been the slowest in the NFL. That will struggle to translate, especially on a bad team.

Yeah, that guy looked so good filling in for Trevor Lawrence then he looked so bad as a full time starter. Maybe he needed a change of scenery. I don't know.

Yeah, I'm sure he sold the powers that be on a long term plan and he didn't do quick turnarounds at Temple or Baylor. The first years were bad. Second years decent. Third years they were playing pretty well but still couldn't beat ranked teams. But there's a lot of delusional Nebraska fans who still think they're a powerhouse.

He probably doesn't have to win the division but I do think it's probably playoffs or bust for him.

Shanahan? The Niners went 13-4 last year and have winning records in three of the last four seasons. Shanahan's seat is ice cold.

Ron had an MVP QB and a DPOY on the other side of the ball and couldn't manage back to back winning seasons. IMO, Ron was basically an average coach with some generational talents on his roster. His track record without those generational talents is pretty bad.

Ron seems like a legitimately good person. Anyone holding any ill will against him as a person is being ridiculous. But as a head coach? Let's be honest, there's plenty to critique. Dismissing that by questioning the fandom of others is just being dishonest.

I'd say being 22-27 as HC in Washington has a lot to do with it. He's 98-90 overall as a HC. Prime Cam and Luke were the sources of most of his success. In the games he's coached without those guys his record is basically hideous.

As promising as possible. If you'd told me we lost the turnover battle two to zero and they recovered an onside kick to boot I would've assumed we got taken to the woodshed not that we won comfortably. Drake threw two INTs but one was basically a 50/50 ball and the other was a straight up drop turned INT. I have no concerns about Drake Maye so I'm very happy to see a D that played awesome outside of two bad drives and a good running game. I would've much rather seen that than Maye having to play hero ball. I've seen enough of UNC QBs having to play hero ball over the last four seasons.
