  1. This dude probably walks around NYC telling them to get the fug over 9/11. It was over 20 years ago. Just get over it already.
  2. Just enjoy the nostalgia. Newsbreak: we're 6-9 only in the playoff hunt because we play in an all time putrid division. We still suck. So just enjoy the fun things. Bringing J-No back is fun.
  3. Yes. We've already had people trying to blame Chinn for the the injury.
  4. Gettleman's biggest issue as a GM was his ego. He always had to feel like he "won" a situation even if it meant fuging over the team. As long as he got his way and stuck it to the other party. Hitting home runs on his bargain free agent acquisitions and riding that to a SB appearance made him grossly overestimate his ability to do that on a regular basis moving forward. He was a flash in the pan.
  5. Gettleman fuged that situation up six ways to Sunday. Literally couldn't have played that hand worse if he tried.
  6. Love him coming back if nothing else but for the nostalgia effect.
  7. And Russell Wilson would probably be cut if it wasn't for salary cap implications. Hackett was awful but Wilson hasn't been any better.
  8. Exactly. It always felt like sheer luck played a significant role and now the horseshoe has fell out of his ass. These are the results that playing style should've always resulted in. He's basically choirboy Johnny Manziel.
  9. They don't have a choice. They're stuck with him for at least two more years due that contract. They can't afford to get rid of him prior to that. They won't be able to field a roster.
  10. You would think the presence of Russell Wilson on your roster would be a great selling point to a prospective coach candidate but oddly enough it might be a significant hurdle. That trade and contract means you're tied to Wilson for at least a couple of years. The way he's looked this year that might be career suicide if you take that job.
  11. Like I said, I wasn't mocking YOU. I was mocking the mindset. You're not the only one here with this mindset. Hell, I honestly I have no clue about any other football opinion you hold. I think you're wildly wrong about this one though. Your take on this one is basically embrace mediocrity at best because you're scared to take a chance on possibly being great. It's a loser mindset.
  12. I'm mocking the mindset, not you. But hey, if the shoe fits wear it. We'll just ignore how you tried to take shots about my lovefest of Howell and mocked that we should wait for Maye earlier that I brushed off and ignored.
  13. Surprised the Bucs lost their nerve there and tried to lay back and protect the sticks.
  14. Nah, we'd be so much better to tread water with Darnold and maybe take a QB next year with our inevitable top 10 pick. At which point the narrative will be to give Corral a shot and maybe look at a QB in '24. At which point the '25 QB class will look can't miss. And so on and so forth...
  15. They gotta try to pickup 10 yards or so on the sidelines. But that's also exactly what the Bucs will expect.
  16. I honestly don't know why people are still complaining about that Cards' play call. If the RB catches a routine pitch that hit him in the chest he easily picks up the 1st. That was completely on the RB.
  17. McSorely literally tried to throw to Hopkins as he was laying on the ground. Talk about predetermining where you're going with the ball...
  18. Maybe next year. It's always maybe next year. Then folks somehow get caught by surprise when we suck again.
  19. Bad teams usually find a way to lose. Well, both these teams are bad but the Cardinals are worse.
  20. He's boom or bust but if he busts we still have good talent at the non-QB marquee positions. We're still fine. Just swing again. Drafting a stud at a non-QB position wouldn't substantially change who we are. Take a chance on the talent.
  21. There's no one in this draft I'm banging the table to move up for. If Richardson is there, draft him. His upside is worth the risk if his interviews check out.
  22. The still think Tom Brady is Tom Brady and he can win no matter what. Ironically, he's the reason they're losing tonight.
  23. How has it been working trying to load up on talent outside of QB to try to win with subpar QB play? We've spent ridiculous draft capital on this defense. The OL is solid. We have really good players at all the marquee positions minus QB. Horn at CB. Moore at WR. Ickey at LT. Burns on the edge. Derrick Brown in the middle. Those are the highest paid positions in the league outside of QB and we have really good talent and all but one is still on a rookie contract. We're pissing away a great opportunity with these talents on cheap contracts because we're too scared to step up and swing at QB. As we have to start paying these guys were going to have to start making other roster decisions. There's no such thing as a perfect roster and every roster wants for upgrades. But we have a good situation where our best talent is at marquee positions. A legit franchise QB and coaching staff wins 10+ games with this roster and might just compete for a SB in the NFC.
