CU just is not going to be good enough to have someone in the Heisman conversation.
-
Hunter flopped his way to a 15 yard penalty extending CU's drive. Smart on him, but that's an awful call.
-
This would seem like an ideal game for Deion to limit Hunter's snaps on D. Nebraska is going to try to throw as little as they can get away with.
-
I've come to the conclusion that Matt Rhule is absolutely allergic to offense. Possibly even more so that John Fox.
-
If Nebraska would run play action on 1st down I'm not sure there would be anyone in coverage considering how reliably they're running it on 1st.
-
I'd feel more comfortable back in the BCS days when margin of victory was a factor in the formula. The blue chip teams would just pile it on overmatched teams because they couldn't afford not to. You had to win every game as big as you could.
-
Nebraska is gonna have to score some points because it feels like Colorado is going to if they can stop shooting themselves in both feet with penalties.
-
Colorado is really piling up the penalties early on
-
42 is just a MASSIVE spread. I couldn't ever bet on a spread like that.
-
4th and 5, Nebraska jumps offside. That patented Rhule discipline in full effect.
-
This Nebraska QB is just a human turnover machine. No way to sugarcoat it. Meanwhile, Nebraska's wildly predictable run on 1st, run on 2nd, pass on 3rd is a John Fox wet dream.

Exactly

He's just not an NFL caliber QB. If we don't end up putting him on our PS he might be done. At least his NFL cup of coffee should provide him with a nice financial boost in life but he's gonna need a plan B long term.

NIL will bring back big time UT football. There is MASSIVE money behind Texas football.

Lots of games tomorrow. #3 Bama vs. #11 Texas the most high profile game in the docket. I really don't think Ewers will hold off Manning all year, but I'm not sure they'll yank Ewers to throw Manning to the wolves against Alabama. Ewers just has not looked good thusfar into his college career. Wasn't he the #1 QB recruit in his class? Still waiting on him to look like a 5* guy.

Seriously y'all, there's enough Burns threads.
-
Interesting.
-
I mean, if you allow OTs to flat out cheat like that KC RT last night then it alleviates the need for top talent.
-
Jason Kelce seems like a good, down to Earth dude. But yeah, Travis seems like a douchebag and he really should drop that fake ass urban wannabe accent.
-
Is a guy arguably the best WR in the NFL? If no, then he's a #2 WR per Huddle logic.
-
It's my understanding that the Bears basically told us the player was gonna be Moore, Burns, or Brown. We chose Moore because we saw WR being the easier position to replace.
-
This is the Huddle. If you're not a top 5 WR at worst then you aren't a #1 WR. a true #1 NFL WR is a mythical beast on the Huddle which is weird given our fairly sorry history at WR.
-
No clue what they'd want but I'd make a phone call to find out.

That's generally how it goes for #1 overall picks. Plenty of ROY QBs had an ugly W-L record as a rookie. Cam set the league ablaze as a rookie and we won what? 6 games? Bryce should be going into a considerably better situation than most #1 overall QBs since we traded up from #9 instead of legitimately being the worst team in the league last year.
