SC might end up winning by 20. Iowa has gone ice cold and the only way they can compete is to shoot at a much higher percentage because SC is just flat out better at everything else.

I miss having the hope that this year we might be good. We were never consistently good but damn it at least we were sporadically good. With Tepper we just fuging suck.

I do think the two best teams are facing off for the title. Kinda feels like '05 with UNC vs. Illinois though I honestly think both of those teams were better. But I do think UConn is 10-12 points better than Purdue. I think they're better everywhere.

Is this the return of the old school "5"? The two teams in the title game are driven by old school 5s. These guys aren't highly sought after by the NBA anymore but they can dominate college ball. That's like the best case scenario if you're a college program. We can throw NIL money at you and the NBA isn't beating down your door. Give me all the old school bigs and undersized shooters I can get.

In Tepper's mins everything before him was trash. He was going to take this team to the top of the NFL and make us forget about all that mediocrity. Fast forward a few years and here we all are reminiscing about the gold old days of "mediocrity".

Make that 8. UConn is just the best team in college ball by a wide margin. I honestly don't think anyone beats them outside of them having an off night and you having an on night. I mean, Bama has been red hot from three and yet UConn has felt in control of this entire game. This was the one game Carolina lost this year that I was like... fug, we need a lot of luck to beat that team. They beat us by 10 or 12 and we didn't play bad. They were just legit 10 or 12 points better.

Just like that UConn is back out in front by 6.

Hell, that wasn't even "recent". Our "recent" high point was Cam's return game. Hell, it's the only high point we've had in years. That was the only game of the Tepper era where we could reasonably think that maybe we'd found something to turn the corner. *Sorry, I was thinking all the way back to the 2015 NFC Championship Game. I forgot Cam's comeback game was against Arizona too.
