Jones has been disappointing at WR this year. I was expecting him to step up this year. So far he hasn't. I thought he was going to be a legit deep threat but he just hasn't shown the type of field stretching speed that I thought he had. He just can't run underneath these balls.

Heisman HOPEFUL. I didn't say he's in the conversation. He isn't right now. He won't be with us taking the air out of the ball with a lead. When you have a preseason Heisman contender you should act like it. We haven't.

I figured life would get very tough for Pitt if we got them having to play from multiple scores behind. They're just not built to do that.

Throwing a ball with your off hand while fighting off two defenders with your throwing arm on a busted play is pretty impressive no matter how you slice it. How many times in football do you see QBs throw a ball with their non-throwing arm?

Ended up not mattering and yeah, he's not one of our better players. Still wish I'd seen the play since the announcers seemed pretty baffled about the call and almost stunned about the targeting being confirmed.
