CFB conference championship games
LinvilleGorge replied to LinvilleGorge's topic in Carolina Panthers
With Travis they're absolutely a legit top 5 team. No doubt about it. Without him though? I think any of the other potentiak playoff teams handle them easily. -

FSU, Bama, and Texas all winning was honestly the nightmare scenario for the committee. There's gonna be HOLLERIN' tomorrow night matter what they do. -

12 12 is a good number. Doesn't matter how many teams are in, there's always going to be teams with a legit argument they got snubbed from the field but if you're on the bubble of a 12 team playoff you don't have a realistic shot anyway. -

It's a helluva testament to Louisville's defense that they won 10 games with this offense. -

Honestly, it's just an unfair advantage to the team that draws them. You'd essentially be giving someone a bye to the championship game. -

Jake probably just disowned him. -

I find it hard to believe that this guy is Louisville's best QB. Every time I've watched them he's looked like complete ass and their D has allowed them to compete despite it. -

And the Louisville QB throws a fuging pill in the endzone. WTF... -

Louisville's punter just got sacked. Like total jailbreak just had to turtle up and take a hearing because getting off a punt was impossible -

This FSU QB is trying to blow it. Should've thrown back to back INTs. -

FSU with a huge play out of a wildcat formation. They're up 10-3. Michigan rolling 17-0. I'm turning that one off at this point. -
Purdy is honestly pretty mediocre. Helluva 7th rounder but as a starting QB he's carried by his system and his weapons. Sadly, we're gonna have to replicate that for our #1 overall pick to work out.

Jesus. Now Louisville with a wild ass trick play of their own. Both these teams know just one big play might be enough to win this game. -

FSU just ran a triple option faking to the RB and the QB running a sweep pitching to a WR split out wide. Wow. They're digging DEEP. -

The committee is praying for Louisville to return a punt for a TD or something. -
I mean, he essentially fired Wilks too by not retaining him after he largely turned the team around. The reporter just used "quick hook problem". He could've simply said "shitty work environment".

Panthers aka the Teppers may want to keep Fitterer
LinvilleGorge replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
If Fitts is retained and we make a lackluster coaching hire because it's all we can manage to lure, I probably won't either to be honest. My dad already quit. He hadn't missed watching a game in over 20 years and didn't watch a single game this year. The Rock Hill deal did him in. -

This ACC game looks like it's gonna come down to a turnover or a big special teams play or something because these offenses can't do poo. Louisville because their offense sucks, FSU because they ran out of QBs. -

Does FSU have another QB available beyond this 3rd stringer? Because homie just got PLASTERED. -
Russini: Some coaches wanted to bench Young
LinvilleGorge replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
The spell is being a rubber stamp. Tepper is the GM when Tepper wants to get involved. Fitts is basically just a secretary handling the paperwork. -
Me and Tepper would've had it out after the Seahawks game in week 3. Dalton is clearly the better option right now and part of it is simply handling the constant pressure better. You're not doing your rookie any favors putting him out there to look like ass every week.

That man finally cut off his mullet and somehow made it even worse. Like he went to the barbershop and said, I want this but with hair instead of a dead crow -
Remember when a lot of folks were saying we had hit rock bottom and I told them that it's felt like that numerous times and that just means that Tepper is about to break out the heavy equipment and break own through again? Well, this is the heavy equipment. We are so fuged. The only question at this point is when or if Tepper will become sufficiently embarrassed and perhaps humbled enough to GTFO of the football side of the house. Because we are completely fuged until he does.

LinvilleGorge replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Of course they do. He's Tepper's rubber stamp. Why would they get rid of him? Some other GM might not be so compliant. It ain't about making good moves, it's about going along with the moves David Tepper wants made. David Tepper is functionally the GM.- 51 replies
