Greg Cosell & compsny preview bills panthers
LinvilleGorge replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why is this educated outside observer saying a lot of the same things many Huddlers get called a hater from the stans for voicing? I'm just confused. Why is Greg Cosell such an obvious Bryce hater? I've been assured that anyone voicing these types of takes are nothing but blind Bryce haters who only want to see him fail. -

He basically pulled a The Golden Calf of Bristol. Sucked for three and a half quarters then finally got his poo together and pulled out the win. But so far that flash has been the anomaly.

Dalton is washed but I'll be surprised if we don't show more vertical elements on our offense

"They're playing the way they have to play on offense with Bryce Young at QB." - Greg Cosell
-
The way opposing teams are playing us says otherwise. If you have the QB, protection, separation, and timing what else do you need? You acting like completing a deep ball in the NFL is pulling off some exercise of black magic.
-
But the threat of the deep ball still sets up the underneath stuff. When the defense only has to worry about covering about 20 yards of grass the underneath stuff gets a lot harder.

For real though, I do think Tua is a shadow of himself after all those bad concussions. Getting knocked dead on the field multiple times has to be in your head when all those huge, fast dudes are flying all around you. Just had to be.
-
We did it for the Temu version of Tua. Tua threw for 4600 yards and 29 TDs one year. Bryce would need a 25 game season to have a shot at those numbers.

That Vikings DB has to feel like a complete jackass. 14 point swing. Failing to secure the INT took 7 off the board for them and ultimately ended in 7 for the Chargers.
-
The Chargers may get bailed out. Not sure the DB secured that ball. Not sure there's concrete evidence to overturn though.
-
Oof. And then Herbert throws a hideous pick six. LOL
-
Chargers had old man Wentz running for his life on the Vikings' first drive. They didn't make it far.
-
Is that what he's trying to do when he throws those dirt balls? Trying to throw a bounce pass? Makes sense.

LinvilleGorge replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
If you're still just echoing pre-draft talking points it's not much of a ball you're taking home. -

If he plays defense for the Bengals and his name isn't Trey Hendrickson he probably sucks. -

JJ has looked fuging terrible in an absolutely great offensive situation.

Yeah, I'm sure this is exactly what the Panthers pictured when they traded a king's ransom to trade up to draft him #1. A third year starting QB that forces you to run a third string QB offense because of his limitations. -

Every NFL roster caliber QB can play a game manager role when leaning on a 200 yard RB. When our running game wasn't dominant Bryce was right back to looking extremely pedestrian against the worst team in the league. -

LOLOLOLOL Y'all got a let the pre-draft talking points go. There's 30+ games of mostly terrible play to look at since.
