It's true. He's out here spinning the damn thing. This group was supposed to be the Levis showcase but Bennett is showing him up.

I would've really preferred him there say something along the lines of "I have all the confidence in the world in my ability to throw the football but I'm not gonna sit here and claim to be better than a former NFL MVP. That would be disrespectful. I gotta go out there and prove it."

Yeah, his a talent hasn't stood out in this group. Stetson Bennett has been the best thrower in this group by a pretty comfortable margin. He might have a better shot of translating to the NFL than I previously thought. I thought he was a good college QB made to look great by surrounding talent. But he's throwing the ball really damn well out there. He's standing out.

So far he looks like what I thought he was. A damn good college QB who just isn't an NFL QB.

Levis' third ball was nice but that wasn't the showcase we were expecting with the "I have a cannon and I'm gonna show it off" boasts.

How fast you can throw it in a game situation does. Guys like Weeden and Cousins have very average NFL arms in game action. I don't really care how fast you can throw the ball in a drill setting.

Normally I'd say who cares about a QB not running but when you're gonna be a 24 year old rookie and you're still asking to be drafted on sheer raw talent, this matters.

I haven't. Cam was a one man wrecking crew. They were a borderline top 25 team preseason with hardly any other NFL talent outside of Cam. Their head coach is now coordinating a terrible D at UNC. Their OC who was being hyped as a genius flamed out as a head coach at Auburn and is currently at the powerhouse Central Florida. That poo was ALL Cam.

Oh, I definitely think Cam was significantly better in his 4th college season than Richardson was in his 3rd.

Cam only started 14 D1 games.

This would my preference. Thomas post-June 1st cut, sign someone in FA (maybe Gesicki) to start, draft someone to develop (there's at least 6 or 7 guys in this draft that look like future potential starters), keep Tremble as #3.

The Giants are the dumbest organization in football if they pay Daniel Jones out the ass. He's still the same guy who they didn't even want to pick up his 5th year option.

And when both are trash... you get the Carolina Panthers' TE production.

I expect us to make a call out of due diligence but I absolutely do not expect Aaron Rodgers to be a Panther next year.

I think Fitts miscalculated pretty badly on Thomas. He definitely talked up his speed and potential. I think he thought he was getting a potentially elite TE on a bargain.

Our TEs are trash. The whole unit is comprised of guys who should be scrapping to make a roster as the 3rd TE.
