  1. My only question is what exactly does that mean? Do we identify a specific guy? Because that means going to #1 Do we identify say three guys that we'd be thrilled to have and that means moving up to at least #3? Are we just trying to decide if we're still in the market to try to trade for #1? I don't know.
  2. I don't agree with her either but the nails stuff? C'mon man.
  3. Cool. I disagree with her. That's all. Sorry that triggers you.
  4. I mean, you don't have to take a shot at her like that. Reasonable people can simply disagree.
  5. I agree with you on him as a runner. He's obviously a serious running threat but he doesn't have the vision, moves, or raw power as a runner that Cam had.
  6. Did you actually watch the games though? Those UF receivers had tennis rackets for hands. Lots of catchable balls hit the ground for Florida last year. I'll fully admit I kinda though the se about AR until I started watching some Florida games and saw a much more polished QB than I expected to see.
  7. Allen ran 4.76 and Mahomes 4.8. That's not Michael Vick but that's not terrible for a QB.
  8. You're not hurting my feelings. I mean, if you wanna keep making yourself look bad, I guess be my guest.
  9. The dude can flat out play. As a huge UNC fan, my concerns about Downs in the NFL are: 1. Size. He's gonna be a shoehorned as a slot only guy and he faced virtually no press coverage at UNC because defenses were terrified of getting beat deep in large part because we had great deep ball throwers in Howell and Maye. 2. Durability. He didn't miss many games at UNC but he was routinely hampered by nagging injuries. 3. Giving up yards to try to gain yards. He's fully willing to give up yards to get space to try to make a move. It worked out more often than not in college but it may be a habit he'll need to break in the NFL. At the end of the day though, I expect him to be a very good NFL slot WR.
  10. At the time end of the day to be a great QB in the NFL you gotta walk that tight rope between confident and cocky. I haven't seen any of these guys come across as bad as Josh Rosen or Brock Osweiler. Those are the only two guys I've ever written off as surefire busts simply based on how off the charts cocky they came across in the pre-draft process.
  11. Talking to Adam Thielen right now about the WRs. Josh Downs was the guy who impressed him the most.
  12. I hope he sprays it around like crazy because right now it looks like we might have to go all the way to #1 to get him at this point.
  13. I wasn't gonna say anything about that because I'm sure I already come off to many as a Levis hater, but yeah I got that vibe from him too
  14. Just a pet peeve of mine when people come into clearly titled threads and complain or mock people for discussing exactly what the thread title would lead you to believe is being discussed. Just seems like people wouldn't click on topics that aren't of interest to them but maybe I'm weird that I don't.
  15. Not sure what your confusion is. He was the DC all season. That's what he was hired to do. https://sports.yahoo.com/north-carolina-hires-gene-chizik-as-defensive-coordinator-202737825.html
  16. Yeah, let's see Richardson and Stroud. Levis was pretty underwhelming IMO. He said he had a cannon and he was gonna show it off but he didn't stand out at all IMO.
  17. It's definitely odd being in a thread about QB Combine drills attributing arguments that I haven't seen made. We're literally just talking about how guys are performing in the QB drills in the QB drills thread. These drills are far from the end all be all of these QB evaluations. I think everyone is well aware of that. But it's March and there's nothing else football related to talk about. I fully understand if you don't care but why bother posting here about that? Let the rest of us discuss the things there are to discuss
  18. Not sure why you're being so testy. We can agree to disagree I'm far from a Bennett fan boy.
  19. His timing isn't off though. The ball is showing up right when it's supposed to. That's the only timing that actually matters. He's delivered the football with better timing and location than anyone else in this group.
  20. That's a weird post considering it's a thread literally existing to discuss these very Combine drills.
  21. The ball shows up when and where it's supposed to be. "Robotic" isn't a valid criticism IMO. I don't care what the guy looks like while he's doing it.
