  1. They're saying Andrews is questionable to return. He didn't look questionable walking to the locker room. He looks OUT.
  2. Helluva game on paper. Hopefully it overcomes the curse of TNF games sucking.
  3. I've noticed that lazy squared up to the field footwork all season. It's typical spread shotgun college QB stuff. It's a big reason why the air raid QBs rarely worked out back in the day. It's less of a knock against prospects in today's NFL but it's causing Bryce to be too slow on miss open receivers. You can't see a guy come open then get your feet ready in the NFL. By the time you do that he's probably not open anymore. You gotta bring your feet and hips with your eyes and Bryce just isn't doing it. He stands squared up to the field and then oftentimes will literally jump like a frog still square to the field and try to throw. I don't care if you're prime Cam you're going to really struggle to generate any velocity doing trash like that.
  4. I have no idea how this guy with such an atrocious record is still regarded as some of draft guru.
  5. Does he look like he's learning? What was it, two games ago when they showed a graphic that we had -6 yards right before half?
  6. It honestly wouldn't be the worst idea to hold him out of this one. But you do run the risk of the offense looking semi-competent again with Dalton which would introduce some uncomfortable truths.
  7. There is zero chance we take a QB high this year after having just traded a haul to draft Bryce. We need to be looking at 2025 QBs. Likely gonna be another long year next year. If we had a 1st rounder then maybe we do what the Cardinals did with Josh Rosen and trade Bryce for whatever we could get and move on but we don't.
  8. Blackshear is averaging 2.7ypc this season and 3.1ypc on his career. I like him as a returner, but he hasn't done much at all as a RB. He has 241 total yards from scrimmage on his career. Carter had over 1600 in his first two seasons prior to them simply stopping using him this year.
  9. Trent Williams and Tyreek Hill aren't available, so fug it. Let's not do anything to attempt to improve and let's just sit around and bemoan that Trent Williams and Tyreek Hill aren't available. Hell, it sounds like you're ready for a job with the Panthers!
  10. I wasn't as excited about Tepper as a lot of folks were but holy poo I would've never dreamed it would be this bad.
  11. There's really not even a close second. We're late stage Al Davis level dysfunction.
  12. The turnovers and how long he holds the ball are big concerns. Huge concerns. He also has not played well against the few decent defenses he has faced. He's still a helluva prospect, don't get me wrong. But he's nowhere near a slam dunk and definitely not some generational type prosect. I think he's boom or bust. He's either gonna be great or he's just not gonna translate at all. I don't see a whole lot of room for him just being decent. I struggle to see him as a Trevor Lawrence type. Disappointing for where he was picked and what he was hyped to be but still decent. Not great, not disastrous, just kind of a mid-level starter type.
  13. And Mac Jones sucks. Everyone just got caught up in him being a super processor Tom Brady heir. Nope.
  14. Rivera's indifference toward OL really is pretty astonishing. It 100% followed him to Washington so he likely wasn't a victim of poor OL roster management here. He was probably the one begging for resources to be spent elsewhere.
  15. Did you miss the "everyone gets it wrong on occasion" part?
  16. I don't give a damn about the Commanders. I've just always been a fan of Howell since his freshman year. The dude has it. No one cares about adding a single win this year but we should be trying to get a little bit better overall whenever and wherever we can. No one is trying to say we're going to become contenders with a waiver wire signing.
  17. So brutal. Imagine if Stroud ends up being the future HOFer he looks like and then the Bears draft a future HOFer next year, not to mention Howell lighting it up in Washington after we picked Corral over him and here we sit the newly crowned biggest suckers in sports history.
  18. Sir, the most Panthers thing ever is to hand the #1 overall pick to the Bears after trading an absolute haul to get #1 overall from them last year.
  19. It's not about this year. It's about trying to build a better roster moving forward. I was hoping he'd end up in Washington honestly. He fits them to a tee. Damn Arizona.
  20. He's a JAG who can really catch the ball and run after the catch. That fits what we're trying to do on offense better than anyone we currently have.
  21. I can't see him coming here. No way he'd be interested in being micromanaged by Tepper. But those two egos colliding would be must watch TV.
  22. Honestly he's probably better than anyone we currently have on the roster. Roughly equal to Chuba as a runner and a lot better as a receiver.
  23. I knew Washington would be putting in a claim. IMO that was basically a foregone conclusion. Former Howell college teammate who fits their offense better than anyone currently on their roster. Hate it didn't work out for them.
  24. You can call it "rich guy hate" if you want but all NFL owners are absurdly wealthy. It's about having the worst record in the NFL and appearing completely clueless.
