  1. Don't confuse media hype with actual NFL evaluations happening. Bryce Young showed up to the Combine to accomplish one thing. Step on a scale over 200 pounds. Show that you're in that Kyler Murray/Russell Wilson size mold, not a complete anomaly.
  2. I hope we draft Richardson. For one, it would tell me that our very experienced coaching staff when it comes to QBs thinks they can mold him into a great NFL QB given his immense talent. But almost as equally, just to sit back and watch the poo show on the Huddle.
  3. This Rodgers in NY thing might end up being even better than the Wilson in Denver poo show.
  4. I just hope the football guys get their choice. Tepper needs to realize he hired these guys to do the job, now GTFO of their way and let them do the job. If they fug it up, fire them. But let them do the job you hired them to do.
  5. No. Not when you consider that Bacot and Washington are injured and weren't going to be available. We basically weren't going to have any bigs available to play outside of Nance. Two players have already entered the transfer portal. It's best to just turn the page and move on and focus on the future. No on at UNC gives a fug about the NIT. Why pretend to? It's not like Hubert was going to actually play the young guys and get them some valuable game experience. If he would I'd say go and take advantage of that. But he won't, so why bother?
  6. Oh c'mon... people are very consistent here. Media talking heads are brilliant when they have an opinion that agrees with theirs and morons when they don't. That's very consistent.
  7. But then Pickett looked decent late. Howell looked good in his lone start. Bailey Zappe looked to translate to the NFL better than anyone expected. Meanwhile, Corral looked like a local HS kid who snuck on to the field with talent that just didn't look like it belonged even against 3rd stringers and practice squader before predictably got hurt as would likely result with a kid trying to play football against grown ass men.
  8. Wouldn't be shocking. But I don't think any of these guys are worth a bidding war. I just hope we're plenty prepared to walk away. Lazard is a mediocre #2 WR and the contract should reflect that.
  9. Chris Simms has always been a notorious "hot taker". Just saying. He's Skip Bayless on weed instead of coke.
  10. CMC definitely feels like a big missed opportunity for the Bills. His contract was very manageable via trade with us eating all the guaranteed money.
  11. I thought he was a clear 1st rounder. Willis had the most raw talent but would it translate. Pickett? Career backup IMO. Corral? Can he survive NFL punishment? I honestly didn't see him looking sou badly outclassed from a talent perspective. That was alarming.
  12. Whining and trying to larp as the NFLPA President requested by no one are the two things Florio does best. Twitter made PFT obsolete. PFT was basically NFL Twitter before Twitter.
  13. I'm honestly somewhere around 50% Young, 35% Stroud, 15% Richardson in terms of draft chances. That's strictly what I think is likely to happen in terms of reading the fig leaves. I hope the decision is already made. I hope it was made before we mortgaged our future on this trade.
  14. I think Packers fans are just super conservative by nature. It works out in terms of generally being competitive year in and year out but only getting two rings out of three decades of high level 1st ballot HOF play between Favre and Rodgers is flat out underachieving. Just no other way to frame it.
  15. Probably not the guys they're mentioning. I'd be looking at the non-1st round Clemson prospects. Two guys who come to mind are EDGE K.J. Henry and TE Davis Allen. I mean, Clemson is one of the top college football programs in the nation and they're virtually in our backyard. It'd be negligent not to have a strong presence there.
  16. AR is just different though. It's all going to seem so obvious in hindsight. If he booms, well no duh. "How can a guy THIS talented not be great? How did you numbskulls not see this??? You're all fired!!!" If he busts, well no duh. "How can a guy who had such pedestrian stats and awful completion percentage in college ever translate to the NFL? How did you numbskulls not see this???? You're all fired!!!"
  17. I think it's cool to see from the players too. They're all going to get paid fug you money. They're going to have generational wealth from these contracts. Better to sacrifice a bit of money that only really matters in terms of dick measuring bragging rights to keep the gang together and do some special things on the field. They could be this generation's Peyton Manning/Marvin Harrison/Reggie Wayne.
  18. The three of them are colluding to make it work contractually. They want to stay together.
  19. Anthony Richardson is going to get people fired. People are going to get fired for drafting him if he's a bust or people are going to get fired for passing on him if he isn't. Either way, Anthony Richardson is going to be behind some NFL pink slips.
  20. I can't take credit for the specific scenario with the Bengals. That was somebody else. I'd give credit if I recalled who.
  21. I mean, Meyers would've been the 3rd highest paid WR in FA last year. Kirk's contract was eye popping but then the guy went out there and put up 1100 yards and 8 TDs so maybe the Jags weren't so crazy after all. The Rams did a dumb thing with Allen Robinson paying him for the guy he was a few years ago, not the guy he is now.
