  1. EDGE and TE are the two biggest strengths of this class. It'd be pretty sweet to end day two of the draft with one of each.
  2. Bryce Young when he saw they had a scale setup for the pro day
  3. Welp, that'll be enough of that. The trolling ran it's course.
  4. He made a 48 yarder on the previous drive. We get it. You like Young. Hell, I do too. But this agenda driven trolling is just tiresome. You can like your guy without trashing a guy who put up 41 points and came missed FG away against the #1 defense in the country.
  5. Hell, let's not forget that OSU missed a FG as time expired after Stroud got them in FG range. But evidently it's still Stroud's fault?
  6. And OSU's defense gave up 42 in the game you're criticizing Stroud for losing.
  7. I think it's a mistake to judge prospects by team results. I'm pretty sure Mahomes had an overall losing record at Texas Tech. I mean, we can always just draft Stetson Bennett if we're just looking for a winner.
  8. Yep, I remember him raving about Kupp. Called him the best receiver in that draft class. Smitty was right. The NFL was wrong letting him fall to the 3rd. He's raving about Josh Downs this year.
  9. I absolutely would not let a 33 year old stop gap or a injury prone guy on a one year prove it deal do much at all if anything to my draft plans.
  10. I wouldn't hold DJ against him. He was a good receiver for us while we trotted out trash QB after trash QB and then proved to be a pivotal piece of the trade that got us the #1 overall pick. Now he's WR1 for another franchise. Hell, he was right about DJ.
  11. Don't get me wrong. I think he has a good NFL arm, I just don't think he's in that Allen/Mahomes/Herbert leauge. I think he's more like Derek Carr-ish in the arm department which still means borderline top 10 type arm. More than enough.
  12. The difference is clear in the games. I don't really care what they throw at the combine. I mean, Will Grier threw 58mph. Jared Goff threw 58mph. Mahomes only threw 55mph. Cam only threw 56mph. Watch the games and Mahomes and Cam obviously deliver a ball with a lot more velocity during actual football games than Grier and Goff do.
  13. Hell, I'd love for Lamar Jackson to land in Atlanta with a fat ass fully guaranteed contract via a trade with them parting with two 1st round picks.
  14. I think so. I'd keep him and try to develop him as a backup. I just don't think our new staff sees anything in him. I mean, have they said a single word about the guy? It's like he doesn't exist.
  15. I mean, he's messed up everything about this. There's nothing he hasn't messed up. When his career is said and done he probably would've had hundreds of millions more in career earnings all to try to save 3%.
  16. Herbert? No. Herbert has one of the very best arms in the league and is significantly bigger to boot. I really don't see much of a physical comparison between Herbert and Stroud.
  17. I think it's just that there are two really good, much more polished QBs available. Stroud and Young aren't Gabbert and Locker.
  18. Agree with most everything you said but I'm honestly not sure if Corral is in the plans at all.
  19. It's possible. I mean, that's basically Joe Burrow.
  20. Josh Allen looked worse against far worse competition and if that draft was redone today he'd be the slam dunk #1 overall pick.
  21. I'd be fine with Richardson too. I wouldn't have the guts to make that pick though. If we take Richardson that would mean our very experienced QB coaching staff thinks he has what it takes and that they can develop him into an elite NFL QB and given his off the charts talent that would be exciting as hell.
  22. Hell, I'm just hoping we stop sucking. Field me a team that competes week in and week out and shows potential and I'll call this year a success.
  23. Richardson's talent level is off the charts but drafting him ahead of Young or Stroud would take gigantic balls and there's a good chance it goes wrong. Then again, if he has what it takes and develops... oh wee mayne. You could be passing on a great one. I'm honestly glad it's not my call. I can fully understand the arguments for and against all of these guys. I think Young is the best QB right now. I think Stroud is probably the safest pick. Richardson is the grand slam or embarrassing strikeout. I honestly can't see that one going any other way.
  24. I hope she's right. Let the football folks decide. Hopefully he's like a lot of the Huddle who would be happy with whoever these guys land on. There's a sizeable Stroud contingent, a sizeable Young contingent, and then a large contingent of "please god just let whoever we draft be great" contingent.
