  1. Stroud is off to a great start and we're missing damn near our entire defense. Doesn't seem like a great recipe for a Panthers W.
  2. If you ask me all cities are bland. The concrete jungle does nothing for me.
  3. Denver is honestly an awful city. 15 years ago it at least had cleanliness going for it. It was probably the cleanest large city I'd ever seen. Then it turned into just a poo hole full of people trying really hard to be the stereotypical "Colorado bro". I only made it 14 years in CO because I was in Evergreen but then it slowly turned into Cherry Creek of the foothills and it was like... yeah it's just time to cash in and GTFO of here.
  4. Not everyone is looking for an NYC. One person's bland is what another might be looking for. I don't want to be in Charlotte but I'd take Charlotte all day everyday over an NYC.
  5. I have to go up to NYC for a meeting on the 8th. I'm so excited about going that I'm flying in and out the same day. Been working on this for two years now so very excited for the meeting but that's all NYC offers for me. Looking forward to getting my piece of that pie though. If this goes well it'll be a seven figure deal for my business.
  6. For me personally that's every city. Aside from historical stuff, every city is the same to me.
  7. I feel like the stereotype that every pro athlete is a club hopping, night life living guy craving that big city party lifestyle probably only fits a fairly small percentage of the overall group and the older and more established in the league a guy is the less likely it probably is to fit him. A lot of these guys aren't that different than the average guy. They just wanna go to work, get paid, and go home to their family.
  8. $13M cap hit next year and that's the last year of his contract. So you're either taking a $13M cap hit or you're extending him and dumping even more money into a half assing malcontent.
  9. This. The only players available at this point are from bad teams ready to fire sale or problem pieces on decent teams. Good teams are nosing around the potential fire sales and bad teams are trying to figure if they can get above market value from a team trying to find that key piece to make a run. It's not hard to figure out which group we fall into.
  10. For Jeudy? Sure. How about two 7ths? I'm not trading anything of real value for that guy. He ain't got no dog in him. We need some dogs on this team. We have enough guys happy to just go through the motions, take their L, and cash their check.
  11. The Niners played like poo last night and Purdy folded like a cheap suit in the clutch.
  12. Purdy is just a game manager. When you need this dude to saddle up and go get it he throws two BAD late 4th quarter INTs.
  13. Oof. Straight up trash tier throw on that INT from Purdy. No sugarcoating it.
  14. WOW. That absolutely should've been an INT instead the WR rips it away and takes it for 6.
  15. I told y'all to not be surprised when he proves to be far more durable if he winds up in a contender. Sons of former players tend to be a lot more business oriented when they're on teams that suck. I honestly can't blame them. CMC cashed fat checks and kept the tread on his tires fresh. Well played, bro.
  16. There's more posts about a teeny bop pop star than MNF. What in the actual fug is going on?
  17. Say you've never actually been to the Bay area without coming out and saying it. You're in for quite the rude awakening. You already have the smug attitude though. Enjoy your 600 square foot $4500 a month apartment adorned with literal human feces in the sidewalk out front. There are reasons why Silicon Valley has largely relocated to Austin.
  18. @Zod if the Taylor Swift NFL obsession continues we're gonna need a forum filter along the lines of The Golden Calf of Bristol.
  19. Ron gonna Ron. This should all sound very familiar to Panthers fans. https://x.com/granthpaulsen/status/1716160368559509692?s=20
  20. A couple weeks ago I thought Bieniemy was adapting to having a porous OL but he went full Shula yesterday. Then again, when the OL is THAT bad I don't know what you can do. It wasn't like they had a weak link. The whole unit was just getting absolutely blown up at the snap.
  21. Earlier on this season it seemed like a lot of folks were blaming Howell for holding onto the ball too long causing a lot of sacks. Sure, that happened occasionally but I honestly think most of the folks blaming the majority of the sack issues on Howell just weren't watching the games or just don't understand football. Now it seems like most folks are starting to realize that the Washington OL is simply historically terrible. https://x.com/NickiJhabvala/status/1716158667672658124?s=20 To put that into perspective, Tua has the fastest average time to throw in the NFL at 2.38 seconds. Meanwhile, Bieniemy is starting to go full Mike Shula doing nothing to help his terribly struggling OL. They made one of the weakest pass rushers in football look like the '85 Bears yesterday. The Giants had already matched their season sack total by halftime. And virtually all of them were just straight up jailbreaks.
  22. My biggest concern with him was durability. He didn't miss a lot of games at UNC but it felt like he was constantly banged up and limited by lingering injuries, especially back related. It wouldn't surprise me if he slipped a bit in the draft because of it. I didn't really have any concerns with him on the field other than acknowledging that he was likely a slot only guy at the NFL level.
  23. Minshew is the perfect type of QB to maximize Downs. So is Bryce.
