  1. Don't get it twisted. I'm not arguing that Dalton is good. Hell, I think the opposite.
  2. Why did we have 6 20+ yard attempts with Damson in one game and I think only 14 in all of Bryce's games combined? Same receivers. Same offense. Yet a viable vertical element.
  3. Dalton is 3/6 this season throwing 20+. I'd have to go back and look again to be sure, but I think Bryce is 5/14. One guy played one game. The other guy has played 8. Oh wee mayne. That's the main thing I'm taking about here. Our offense has only had a legit downfield threat in one game and it wasn't any of the ones Bryce has played in.
  4. There isn't a point for the Panthers. I'd just personally like to know. I have a very strong suspicion but another game of Dalton looking considerably better would remove all doubt.
  5. I'm talking about the overall passing attack looking a lot more viable.l, not specific stats. Though the specific stats I'd point to for leading to the overall passing attack looking a lot more viable is that we actually threw the ball downfield with some success.
  6. I'd just like to know for sure. If Andy Dalton looks a lot better than Bryce Young again then it's not a fluke.
  7. It's whatever to me. We all called for Brown and the offense still sucked. It honestly probably got even worse. How about we see that red headed dude at QB again? Let's find out of the offense suddenly looks a lot better again. That sure would be uncomfortable confrontation with reality.
  8. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Reports were that we would've taken David Carr if we had the #1 pick instead of being forced to settle for Julius Peppers at #2 and then falling backasswards into Jake Delhomme.
  9. Burns went from underrated nationally when tied to the Panthers to overrated nationally entering into free agency. If we ink him long-term, expect the narrative to shift again.
  10. Yeah I can appreciate the desire but the desire becomes counterproductive when paired with incompetence and too much ego to recognize it. Tepper seems to have the philosophy that he cannot fail he can only be failed by the underlings around him.
  11. I think that what he's getting at is that it's Tepper actually making the call. It was widely reported that it was Tepper who was so obsessed with pursuing Watson and it was only when the cost got to the point of absurdity he accepted that it wasn't worth THAT.
  12. It's why I expect Howell to go to Rivera and Bieniemy and lobby for his boy. He's a better fit for what they're doing on offense (basically not running the ball) than any RB currently on their roster.
  13. They might have Cam'd him. Trying to play a QB through a rotator cuff injury on his throwing arm is just fuging idiotic.
  14. Even when we whiff on making a huge move it still turns out it was a horrible idea.
  15. I largely agree, but you have to look for every opportunity to improve your roster. If a guy is available for practically nothing who is better than the worst guy currently on your roster at that position then you shouldn't neglect to make that move simply because it doesn't address your biggest roster issues. You have to get better where you can when you can taking advantage of current opportunities. I mean, it'd be awesome if Trent Williams or Tyreek Hill suddenly became available but that's not reality.
  16. If we had the cap hit to do it I'd pick him up and drop Sanders right now and just take the cap hit punch in the dick while we suck. Might as well.
  17. Tough to see us scoring that unless Dak throws a couple of picks sixes. 38-6
  18. We've covered the spread what, twice all year? Yeah, betting against the Panthers is about as safe as bets get.
  19. Bryce was a great college QB, no doubt about it. But there's a loooooooong list of great college players that don't translate to the pros. Sometimes it's physical, sometimes it's mental, sometimes it's off the field, sometimes it's unfortunate injuries, or something combination of some or all of the above. So far, Bryce ain't translating.
  20. I think Bryce's limitations are far more physical than mental but I'm also not sure he's as much a "super processor" as our brain trust was led to believe. Knowing full well that our "brain trust" very well might just be David Tepper.
  21. I've never thought the Panthers had a particularly great stadium game day experience minus Cam's entrances. But yeah, it's definitely significantly worse mainly in a cheesy way under Tepper.
  22. The Bills are spiraling, Josh Allen is a turnover machine, McDermott is feeling the heat, and somebody has to be the fall guy. Joe Brady needs to call more of those "hey Josh, don't throw it to the other team" plays.
