He took the job knowing the QB situation and he took it because we were the only team even considering him for a HC. When we move on from Bryce at the end of this season we probably make a change at HC too. His only hope is to bench Bryce and have the offense show promise with Dalton. I bet he's really regretting not pushing hard for an upgrade at backup QB this off-season. Probably time to go beg Morgan and Tepper to let him trade for Jameis or Howell.

It was an absolute fluke. The Falcons just completely looked past us and Penix had the worst game of his life. Fast forward a week and we're back to being us and they're back to looking like a team potentially in the rise.

If Bryce needs an aging comfort blanket that desperately then it was a great move to expose that.

Schlereth was exactly right with his "empty stats" comment because that's exactly what we just tried to do. Pad that stat sheet and act like Bryce did more than what we all watched.

Yeah, it's definitely not all Bryce's fault by any means but the folks still trying to make constant excuses this far into his career needs to give it up.
