  1. You have what, 18 hours or so to mull it over? You'd be crazy not to field the calls and consider the offers. If I'm a team wanting to move up though, I'm honestly trying to get back into the bottom of the 1st for that 5th year option. But our phone is gonna be ringing. Pick it up.
  2. Gotcha. You mean when we're literally in the clock at #33. I think everyone already understands that. What everyone else is talking about is that we're effectively "on the clock" as soon as the #32 pick is made even though it will be the next day before we are actually "on the clock".
  3. These would be 3-4 DEs for us and I've honestly thought that was quietly one of our sneaky needs.
  4. Being the worst team in the league and then not even having the excitement of having the #1 overall pick because we've already traded it away feels like one of the bigger fanbase dick punches possible. Imagine how much worse it's gonna be if Caleb Williams turns out great for the Bears, as far fetched as that seems given their historic struggles at QB.
  5. Why would a team trade for #33 without knowing who's available?
  6. We're gonna be on the clock for a looooooong time at #33. We'd be crazy not to listen to the offers coming in.
  7. I just can't really mock other teams right now when I'm a fan of the reigning worst team in the league. Just doesn't feel right.
  8. I'm just in wait and see mode. I honestly don't think Bryce is it but we're committed to see it out for at least another year so let's just wait and see. It's pretty much all we can do as fans. The types of WRs I see Bryce needing are slot types. Basically quick guys who can win off the LOS and get open quickly. Bryce doesn't have good NFL arm talent. We have to rely on what we drafted him for - his mind. He's gotta process it fast, see it, and deliver it. He needs to be absolutely elite pre-snap. Let's see if he is a super processor because if he's not then he ain't it and we need to figure it out one way or the other moving forward.
  9. Icky projected to be the 9th worst pass blocking LT in the league? Sadly seems about right. Meanwhile, are the Jets planning on playing their punter at LT? A 9? NINE???
  10. I mean, he was a really good college QB. I'll give him that. It's just really tough to evaluate QBs when they're in one of the top programs where they could regularly beat pretty much any non-top 10 team in the country with their backups. The overall team talent disparity is just huge. But Bryce's physical talent concerns translating to the NFL were blatantly obvious IMO.
  11. We had already seen at Bama. That's when the hilarious claim that Bryce was having to carry inferior talent at ALABAMA started up.
  12. It was his biggest weakness in college too. NFL defenses just made it look even worse.
  13. I don't blame Trimble. The guy should've been playing more.
  14. He's just not a fit with Bryce. His strength is going deep. Bryce's biggest weakness is the deep ball.
  15. This. I'll believe it when the results on Sundays changes. Here's to hoping but I'm done believing.
  16. UConn is just the best team in the country by a pretty decent margin. I wonder how much UK is gonna throw at Hurley?
  17. I have no dog in this fight but UConn's coach is making me a Purdue fan for the evening. What a whiny douchebag.
  18. UConn's coach confronting Edey? If I was Purdue's coach I would've lost my poo. That screen was clean anyway.
  19. Edey is dominating but it feels like they're too reliant on him. He's gonna have to take a breather at some point and they're gonna have to find something else on the meantime.
  20. Flying knee to the dome followed by a solid scorpion. Nice.
  21. Edey is absolutely dominating. I thought Clingan would provide more resistance than this. Worthy back to back NPOY.
  22. "Falling" for him would be not going top 10. He ain't coming anywhere close to #33
  23. Hoping for a good game tonight. I do think the best two teams in the field made it to the big game which is a rarity. Kinda feels like UNC's '05 championship where they faced off against Illinois. It was very clear they were the two best teams that year and I think UConn and Purdue are pretty clearly the two best this year.
  24. He's about halfway in between. Faster than Mingo but definitely not as fast as DK.
