  1. All y'all actually subjecting yourselves to watching this again
  2. Let me know if there are any bags on heads spotted in the stands.
  3. Nah. QBs have to walk a fine line between cocky and confident. Without that confidence it's over. As soon as doubt starts to creep in it's over. You're going to start hesitating and second guessing and everything is going to start happening too slow. What is like to be hearing from Bryce right now is him saying he isn't playing well but how hard he's working to fix that and how he has all the confidence in the world that he'll get it fixed instead of seeing a guy who looks dejected and lost.
  4. 100% He has elite physical talent. If he had it between the ears he has everything needed to be an MVP level QB.
  5. In every NFL game I watch I see other QBs make throws that I simply haven't seen any evidence that Bryce Young can make at this level. What he did at Alabama doesn't matter anymore. There are no shortage of great college players that don't translate to the NFL.
  6. I was concerned after the first two games. But after seeing the offense operate with Dalton and Bryce look the same as the first two starts with two full weeks to prepare to face a bad defense? I'm not saying it's time to panic but there's a desperate need to see something promising soon.
  7. Throwing guys open is a necessary skill in the NFL. When you play at an Alabama or an OSU you're going to be able to hang out behind dominant OLs waiting for your future NFL 1st round picks to beat future PE teachers trying to cover them. That poo doesn't happen in the NFL.
  8. With Bryce's arm? Probably so. But that's NFL wide ass open in the redzone. If you can't make that throw you can't play QB in this league.
  9. I haven't watched the all 22 and don't plan to but I wouldn't be surprised if there's not plenty more of the same. Bryce looks shellshocked. Bryce's biggest detractors wouldn't have predicted that he'd look this bad. That's just the honest truth.
  10. I know. The poor guy is in denial. The reality of what we're watching sucks but delusion is a worse option.
  11. Don't be shocked if we say Bryce reaggravated that ankle. That post game presser screams we need to get him out of the fire before he's cooked.
  12. OMG The play above WAS IN THE REDZONE. Hence why I mentioned that because it's harder to get open in the redzone. Hell, we turn the whole field into a redzone because Bryce can't throw more than 15 yards but that's another story.
  13. Guys don't get anymore wide open than that in the redzone in the NFL.
  14. It doesn't matter if I do. Your bucket of excuses is bottomless.
  15. Keep coping. Watch other games. See other QBs play. There's such a dramatic difference.
  16. You don't even have the selling point of hyping it as the race to the #1 overall pick since the Bears already hold them both. Damn... what if they ended up with #1 and #2? Take the QB of their choice at #1. Put #2 on the trade block for another haul and slide back a few spots and still land a top WR or Bowers at TE for your new QB. I mean, it's the Bears so they're gonna 100% fug up the QB pick but it's still a sweet setup on paper.
  17. I get it that Zavala is a rookie that they're high on his potential but he's not improving. He missed quite a bit of crucial time on camp and preseason and he's just not ready. It's time to take a redshirt approach on him. You can't let a guy just get ragdolled every week further hamstringing your struggling offense with the hope of him improving. You gotta play somebody else.
  18. There has to be a better option than Zavala. He's our worst player every week.
  19. If he busts I think it does unseat the Sean Gilbert trade as the worst trade in Panthers history. If he busts AND Stroud and/or Richardson end up being HOF SB QBs then it's gonna be in the conversation for worst trades in NFL history.
  20. There aren't any steadfast rules. Ultimately, you need a combination of physical talent and mental acuity and mental toughness. Every player is his own unique evaluation and that's why it's so tough. It'll always be more art than science no matter how many measurables they come up with for the evaluation process. Busts and steals are just the way it goes.
  21. If you're willing to buy a ticket to see this putrid product you've earned your right to have your displeasure heard IMO. Hell, if you got a ticket for free and choose to spend your time and effort to go down to BOA and see this putrid product you've still earned your right.
  22. No. It's just a piece of data to add to the pile like a 40 time or any other measurable. It's not a QB evaluation cheat code.
