    I mean, Burns was always basically a stat padder. Seems like most of his stats came in games or moments that just didn't matter. Key games or key moments you might as well have had me out there. Dude would go MIA.

    Not necessarily. Get Brown back, add a couple mid-level FA LBs, and get a CB to put opposite of Horn. Injuries just decimated an already thin roster.

    The ACC has always protected the hell out of their best bets at getting a playoff team. I was thinking the expansion to 12 teams may lessen their perceived need to do that but I guess not.

    What? Look how well journeyman pushing 40 Andy Dalton is playing in thus offense. If a young guy with several years of NFL starting experience can't step into this offense and play well then he ain't it.

    We lost a similar big one a ways up the creek last year. Actually right by where the landslide during this hurricane was. It had a bunch of old names carved in it from decades ago. This one does too but they're faint. The names in the other one were very clear.

    Drake Maye was like that. His play suffered when they started reining in his running. He played better when he was Superman diving and cartwheeling around.

    This huge beech tree gives me pause after this storm. It looks like it's vertical from the deck. But that's because it's leaning right toward you. The storm didn't change it at all. It's always been just like that. But all these trees coming down in this storm does make me view it differently because there's no doubt where that thing I going if it goes.
